I love the UltraFly regardless. That other flagship shoe is Vile. Vibram has been my go-to for about 30 years.

I do like white trail shoes ever since the story behind the Catamount, but this might be a pass. They seem more of a shoe roadies would buy for the typical Nike hype train then run smooth gravel pathways and parkrun. I could be wrong though.

Finally Nike realised that their outsole trail shoes are rubbish 😆. Vibram will make a lot difference in terms of getting a good grip

The best trail shoe money can buy?!.... it's white, so a daft colour, and probably expensive. And why on earth would you want a solid carbon plate, when you're going over uneven ground. Bouncy zoom-x foam not needed on non-road surface, React foam would be fine. A few design decisions made here that are a bit bonkers. 😂 this is obviously just someone paid by pro direct to sell it. Good points- Vibram outsoles are good, and id imagine the lock down will be ok. Go for something like Hoka Speedgoat if you want Vibram outsole.

Thanks for the comment! Although I do agree there is currently a lack of mainstream studies on the efficacy of carbon plates in trail shoes, the one in the Ultrafly is less rigid and pronged in nature so far more suitable for uneven terrain. Again, good point on the ZoomX but with it being fabric wrapped, there is really no sacrifice of durability Vs a far denser and less responsive compound like React so seems to make sense to utilise the best. Speedgoat is a solid allrounder for sure but i think those looking for a bit of extra speed will love the Ultrafly without compromising on durability.

@prodirectrunning OK thanks mate but I think we all realise why this video has been put out there. It's just to sell shoes, and people are much more likely to trust an unbiased shoe reviewer. 😄 🤣 Get in the gym people and strengthen your muscles and joints so you can handle running in a shoe with a denser, less bouncy foam! Think how many months of gym membership you'll get vs 1 ridiculously priced pair of shoes!!

Not a full length plate, it's more like shank. Think this review is a paid plug for the shoe. If you want to see a real review run4adventure ran an ultra in them.

Not really a dedicated trail shoe in my opinion, and, biggest problem besides the price with the new UltraFly… Endorphin Edge. Lighter, faster, better for long hauls. Not as stable, but this the only con. Did I mention the price…😵‍💫

I dont think its worth 250€
