As a sneaker collector, you've hit big on that lot of OG nikes. People buy those boxes alone for 40-50. Being factory laced also adds to the value. You're looking at easy 100 a pair, especially the smaller sizes. The quality in comparison to the new models is insane.

The white on white air force 1 was released in 1983 for retail . The barcode pulls up as an air force 1 . It's hard to make a certain judgement call without them being in hand. The yellowing of the soul is typically from the tissue paper inside the box . So I'd say they have been in them boxes for some time possibly.

They could be from 2006. A lot of old air forces with yellowing are older in age

Hi, i sell authentic nike shoes for a living from an actual brick and mortar store. The easiest way to tell of a shoe is fake is to start from the box. A lot of fake models print the label but do not print the price tag on the box etched in next to it. It could just be ripped off but you should see the tear marks on the paper. If it is a perfect flat cut, it means they are fake.

Although everyone is saying fake, they don’t have the knowledge of older Nike shoes. The shoe boxes were used during the 90s; check the production date on size tag in shoe. Shoes yellow because of oxidation, and depending on storage they will not yellow at same rate through the shoe. There is such a thing as B grades in Nike, which are defective shoes; not sure how to tell on older Nike but in newer ones they have a B stamped on the size tag in shoe.

Variety Snkrs lol I have multiple hobbies trust me when I say these are fake. Yes, the box may represent an older bike box, but the label and the shoes shape is off in small ways like the toe box. Yellowing on the midsole is natural, but only when the entire sole becomes yellow with it to be white under and yellow like how he showed makes me believe there is a difference in the materials used across the shoe.

Thats a crazy deal for the shoes . The labels on the boxes are replacement labels, but all the shoes are from the 90's.

You have to look at the tags inside the shoe. They look like 90s Air Forces.

Shoes look old but real, the boxes look to be the from the 90’s, check to see if they say “made in Taiwan” ... The pair in the grey box were yellowing due to age and storage

they aren’t fake, the yellowing is a older model used for magazines. what they do is when they are gonna put them on picture they would hand paint them so there’s a shine on the shoe and it would last. what you found was ALL af1’s (air force ones) all though they’re older models that’s what makes them better, and the ones with the one that has the swoosh sign up more and is a size 5 i think you can sell online min: 100 max: 270 so you got a very good deal in those

Also the slope down from top sole to front shoe side is flatter than a normal slight curve and it looks more like a polished white instead of factory

Btw those Nikes look good, use the Nike code to look them up, 306353-112. And those are NIB so there will be a premium. The yellowing is just a sign of age, some people dont mind it in vintage shoes. Keep up the good work.

But if you know you know 🤷🏻‍♂️ and shoes do yellow after years never seen some that bad but they do have discoloration after years. All facts do some homework guys

It’s a retro box. Not the original old boxes. They remade the box.

Shoe soles will yellow overtime. It will take a couple of years to turn yellow. Sometimes you will see peaks in the leather on fake shoes. A good place to find them are around the toe box. The peaks will look like small points on the edges of the material.

There $3 that’s a steal even if the box’s are beat up you can resell them for so much more than 40

Those Air force Ones are fake because on the Metal lace lock it has a 82 and That is only on the Mids and Highs

Nike would never put the colorway as (All White) on the box label it should read White/ White and that style box are completely wrong for the shoe, the grey box is what the come in today but even those grey box pairs are fake.

Chamois cloth= "sha'mee cloth" as in the kind of cloth that is very water absorbent. Great for drying cars after a wash.Would not want to get caught in the rain in that shirt.....lol!! If there brand new they will go for about 30 to 70 bucks matters if there worn or not and it matters on the box condition for some people...

The yellowing on the sneaker is from the box and paper. Nike boxes are not meant to keep the shoes in them for a long amount of time and the paper and cardboard is very acidic and can dry out the material and yellow the shoe.

John I need to look and see if there is a play it again sports anywhere near us. That is a good idea because no listing or shipping is sometimes worth taking less. Great video. Hope the Nike shoes sell good for you.

You could clean the yellow off and make it white again. There are a bunch of videos on here on how to do it.

One of the first things that I look at when I check shoes is the box, because if the box is wrong there is a higher chance the shoe is counterfeit. At 8:35 the label on the box doesn’t have the msrp price on it and also the color description shouldn’t be ALL WHITE. Also I believe the barcode on a 4.5 should match another 4.5 and should be different from the other sizes. In my opinion these are fakes.

On older bike shoes the rubber is different on the sole so it tends to discolor like that

Those boxes look from the late 90’s , I’m guessing 97-98? That’s the box I got with Nike’s from that time period. Look up salon care 40. It’ll get rid of those yellowed soles with the quickness.

Nike Air Force 1 ogs they average between $100-$200 they turn brown from age. Check the with of the sole, the stitching, and the tag is a good way to tell if they're real. even if they're fake some people will still buy them to make customs nice Hall.

Look at the tounge of the shoe thinner than a thin mint but really real AF-1 have lots of padding 3 ain't bad a pair especially to customizers

Alright time to settle this once and for all...yes old shoes that are white or Clear/icy bottoms or soles will start to yellow/brown from oxidation and age. Also yes by the small clips the shoes do look fake with the sole looking off and bigger then usual, following by the box logo being lager then usual as well But could be real because GS sizes differ from adult sizes.....I’m pretty much sold on them being AA reps tho 💯💯
