NEW NEO! easyJet Airbus A320-251N Departure from London Gatwick

A day trip to Edinburgh for a little Christmas shopping and Christmas markets! Also I planned to coincide with the date, as exactly 10 years ago, on the 28th November 2009 I also flew with easyJet also for a day trip to Edinburgh! I was actually travelling on a standby ticket as the flight was overbooked. However at check in I was informed it was looking quite good with 12 passengers yet to check in and not much time left. When I got to the gate I was immediately allocated seat 2F, which was also a bonus!
We were on board a fairly new NEO, less than 3 months old, and unfortunately, we were delayed due to a technical fault with the aircraft. There was an issue with the fuel transfer system and after refuelling, the captain was unable to transfer the fuel to the other wing to balance the aircraft. Engineering were quick to come and we pushed back about 30 minutes after the scheduled departure time.

Great video, thank you. I always book seats in row 3 due to window position. My next flight only has rows 2, 5 and 7 remaining in Up Front, so wonder if you can recall whether you could see out of your window easily without having to lean right forward/back?

Thanks for watching! I dont think the window position was too bad but if I recall correctly I did have to lean forward for this camera angle. When I flew to Innsbruck, over 2 years ago now, I was seated in row 5 (you can also check out the video on my channel) from what I remember the window allignment in that row was quite good.
