I suffered so much during pregnancy for my children, it permanently damaged my kidneys, I loved my children more than I love myself. I never left their side, even when they were in school I worked in their school...Now they are grown and they never have time for me, one lives next to my home, the other one 5 mins away…they dont even answer my messages much less a phone call. It breaks my heart. One told me not long ago that he is emotionally unavailable for anyone but himself and his job???? I realize my mistake was I put my children before Allah…I feel Allah has removed my children from my life to make my faith stronger. Please call your mother…if like me she only wants time with you.

Me and my brother take care of my mother daily as she has schizophrenia. Her condition is severe. She has visual and auditory hallucinations day and night. Most of the time she cannot even understand what we are saying as she is busy talking to her many voices. I would do anything to see her back to "normal". However, she has gone downhill ever since my dad passed away last year.

I've been learning about Islam and Allah since months ago. I'm not a converted yet, because I have to much to learn, but I truly believe in Allah, because I feel that he listened to me, and he forgave my sins. Now, my mother has breast cancer, I prayed to Allah but I don't speak Arab yet, I'm scared, I need your help. Could you please pray for my mother. The most wonderful woman in the wold. Even though she's not Muslim, she has always been modesty, she only loves my father (who died long ago) and a good woman, a woman with a good heart, always helps others, always benevolent, always thinks good things and desires good things to others... A woman who doesn't deserve this terrible situation. I truly believe she has been cursed by bad people with evil hearts who have always been jealous of her good heart, even though they go to the church every Sunday. Please, help my mother with your prayers, Allah will listen to you more than me because I don't speak Arab and I need to know lots of things about Quran. Thanks you in advance. Mufti 😢 you make me cry when you say about Mother every mother they are not kind I have such terrible mother but I pray God Wendy she will change I have nothing I hold back for her I give her everything I was ask anymore but one life was tough on me and I really needed her for her kindness she was never there for me she’s still not there for me I have done nothing for her besides being a slave for her but what I need a life someone that I love do you have family she doesn’t agrees she wants everything for herself I love you musty but every mother they are not good there I really horrible moms out there may God soften ttheir hard

I trying my best to take of my mother in her old age. It's hard cause sometimes she can be unreasonable. I pray Allah SWT give me the strength and the means to give my mother happiness in her old age.

Alhamdulillah shukran for addressing the issue of welcoming the youth into the Masjid. I have a few sons who attend a school next to the Masjid. It only make sense for them to go to Masjid straight after school and do their salaah before I pick them. They where belittled & shout at by the older men in the Masjid over these few years. They've asked me so many times to not go there again but I tell them to be respectful, do your salaahs as the Masjid belongs to Allah. I feel so sorry for them at times, I do try my best to not leave them there for too long. If it wasn't for them missing a waqt & would not take them. I don't understand how adults don't understand that their behaviour have a big impact on the youth.

May allah forgive our mothers and grant them jannah❤

Loneliness, asking for a child Prophet Zakaria (AS) cried to Allah and asked this dua to grant him a child when he attained old age. رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِي فَرْدًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِينَ Transliteration Rabbi la tatharnee fardan waanta khayru alwaritheen Meaning O My Lord! My brothers refused to take care of my mother who has terminal Parkinson's disease. Mine and my sister's husbands are cleaning her poop and doing what the sons should have done. It's so sad! The brothers' wives wear hijab, pray namaz but no sense of respecting and loving my elderly motherm they are obsessed with their kids and earning money.

it’s not your sister in laws job to look after your mum, it’s her children’s she gave birth too, and why are your husbands taking care of her needs? shouldn’t you the daughters be doing that? stop blaming others you should be grateful you got a chance to take care of her, so many daughters would love to take care of their parents.
