I missed the times where you don't have to compete other players to play a game mode. Wish they could just add it as an option on the menu.

Really hope they don't add Manglers, Mimics and Decipals to BO6 they're so overused at this point

They’ve already made this game too competitive in tier 3 with contracts and the new reward rifts. Now they’ve give an excuse for everyone to slap on a scorcher and be greedy even more. Disappointed. Wasted game mode.

I love how it’s so minimal Xbox channel didn’t even bother to post the trailer this time lol

Everything in MWZ is casual to me now, I have all schematics, I do Red Worm and Elders back to back out of boredom. Hopefully this will give me (and my homies) an actual challenge.

I’m done with rifts.. I wish they’d either expand parts of the urzikstan map like open up under ground bunkers that leads to other areas or you have to take a boat or a special launch riff to go to a nearby island for new Easter egg challenges.

If its anything like the purple triangles, i'm not even gonna bother. Every sweaty kid rushes to all 3 immediately and leaves none for others.

Some lobbies not all players know about, I managed to join a squad doing the last one and exfilled with all 3

God. This gamemode has so much potential. Along with DMZ, but they mishandled this so hard. :/

It's only a W when they add an option to drop in by yourself on the whole map so you can actually enjoy the game without 6 man squads rushing tier 3 and making contract grinds impossible

I haven’t played since the last update where they made everyone fight for the symbols in tier 3. Absolutely ridiculous, I waste all my gold stuff going to the tier 3 zone where everyone already did the symbols so I can’t do it

Great video as usual going in depth about what the update is being myself personally after 4 days of playtime won’t be playing anymore due to still not getting the lv3 crystal ( had it 20+ ) times now for it to disappear I assume can’t be only one having this glitch but feels like they are leaving it way to long between updates that are completely within a day

So they finally add round based but put it in the dark aether, where 90% of people have limited experience and therefore playing with randoms is gonna SUCK. Awesome. 🙄

I was told the upcoming puzzle for the latest dark aether was going to be much harder it was super easy.....

I don’t get the point of these unstable rifts at all. They’re described to be pretty difficult, so I’m assuming they’ll be at least tier 4 difficulty at minimum. And the reward you get for completing an unstable rift is just an instant completion of all your cooldowns? But, won’t you more than likely be using those acquisitions to complete the unstable rift? So, in the end, you gain basically nothing.

Yes and no. You'll break even in terms of reward and consumed gear, but you'll get to play again and again (in theory). It's about giving people round based experience. In round based games, you also don't exfil with anything upon completion.

@@SugarHillGoGetBack There's no end to amount of ways to easily camo grind in MWZ. This would be a needlessly difficult and convulated way to grind camos. You can farm exfils, do outlasts or spore controls, or even do that one story mission with the Janson exfil. Why would anyone do unstable rifts for camos?

People play it to reach a certain round or see how far they get, or they attempt to complete the Easter egg, but in the end there is no reward. So I don't really see why people are complaining that theres not going to be a reward in the upcoming unstable rifts.

Perhaps it’ll be like COD mobile zombies in the open world map. The turrets, the 3 day time limit was excellent

Are you really going to miss out? Didn’t they say multiple unstable rifts? If it’s hard players should be going in 6 man teams so would only need a few and the whole lobby could go. No need to go twice if you have all your schematics cooled down. Will probably be the solo players, if they selfish and go in robbing up to 5 players a chance.

It seems like they are struggling to come up with something new for zombies. It would be great if they had a mission to go in and complete so many contracts in tier 1 and 2 and 3 then complete a dark aether mission and get some crazy reward for it.

The only reason i watched this entire video was because of the countless easter eggs youve helped me with.

Personally I will be going into the unstable rift for the challenge not the rewards I just hope it's really difficult! But not too sure it will be!!

Gave up on this game a long time ago. I don't trust cod anymore to make a good game

​@@sbrmilitiathe point would be to save your essence from one game to another. The containment levels took care of the essence issue a bit (and griding for it). It's not perfect but it helps. In a way, you're right that there seems to be less demand for the wallet now after some adjustments, such as better loot, containment levels, and assuring that T3 always reward you with 5k.

@@Andrewcwazeewabbit only reason to save essence would to be able to spawn in and go straight to the wonder fizz. After bringing in a PAP2 and 3 crystal, Legendary tool, golden armor, aether blade or deadwire, elder sigil, scorcher, mags of holding and a dog bone I have no room to craft perks.

It would be so funny if the rift leads you to vanguard zombies

There is literally 0 new content unstable rifts are reused areas. Saved you guys a few minutes of your time

Brother please help me. I have the gold giraffe, purple laptop with stickers, purple imaginary friend drawing, purple science journal, and a regular sigil. How do I unlock the rift without doing runes? I tried upgrading them to gold but I keep getting beat by other players. I almost had all 3 upgraded gold but server crash & I lost all my stuff.

You can do the runes even after someone has done it if you have the items. Just stand where you would make the triangle and it'll give you the perform the summoning button.

Honestly no point in even trying it. They've definitely buffed the Zombies agression in all Tiers and DA so if I want a challenge i'll just hang around T3 with weak or no upgrades.

Appreciate the coverage, but this misses for me. If they had added any reward, maybe 1 unique skin or blueprint then great. But as is, the other way to reset all my cool-downs is to not play for a couple days. I mean, use all my schematics so i can play a game to get them all back?!?

Yeah, not having other ways of rewarding players kinda sucks. On the other hand, in round based, you finish your game, with or without Easter Egg, and you get nothing as well. You can play again. And that's what people do. (yes, they can choose a different map for the next game, I know, but they don't get any extractable reward either)

I gave up on mw3 after season3....I hate the time honestly. Hell me and my squad decided to go back to playing cold war zombies

To be clear, will this be like a contract where ones a team is done, the unstable rift will pop up again somewhere else in the map? or will this be a ones a game opportunity like the three triangles in T3?

It's been mentioned multiple times that there would be multiple rifts PER a game. You don't make the first one, you can try for others. Supposedly one rift is available at a time. Once it closes, another can be opened

Ill be honest the WaW and Bo3 custom maps have been better then anything we have gotten in years last decent was cold war

BO6 six is the last chance for COD !!!

Of course this happens mere days before I go to basic training for 6 months

Dang. I can't believe im saying this but, I almost wish they just gave us something like vanguard. I hated it but this honestly sounds worse. Im just gonna play BO3 and Cold war instead. I appreciate the breakdown though. Take it easy, man.

Here's a better idea. Spawn everyone in t3. Randomly spawn powerups/wonderweapons/guns/ammo/....special zombies, supersprinters, last team alive wins. I'd rather that than what we're getting.

I've had a cool down for the last 3 month's because it's a absolute bucket of 💩 you literally get a cool down every 2 days and the poor baskets that still play it every day god bless but I'm not surprised at the lack of effort couldn't even be bothered to give anything new for the new season reloaded that's a new low 😂😂😂

Really very sad to see this mode getting destroyed because of the lack of content they really killed this mode

Haven't touched cod in about three months and glad to do so, game is very repetitive no matter what mode u play. Every perk that people use the same. Weapons same, attachments the same as everyone else, no variety in the game at all. META to strong for two weapons and perks and makes very stale game

L .... the gameplay loop basically hasn't changed since launch. If this were round based we'd have 3 if not 4 maps to choose from. This is inexcusable when they already have Al-Mazrah sitting there practically ready to go... it even already has Warlords on it that the devs seem to love so much

I'm ready to move past this game & everything it offered.

That's short sighted. I liked CW and pretty much got into zombies there, but I absolutely love MWZ. Yes, it's disappointing that after the initial strong start, they seem to have abandoned the mode, but it's a very good mode

I know people are pissed and I do agree it’s pretty cringe. It really shows how lazy they are getting. They know the core players are going to keep playing everyday (me) either way. The season 3 schematics were a major let down but I will say this: if this rift works out and ends cool downs then I’m all for it! Give me a reason to not have to tombstone at the end of every game. Can’t wait to play it even if it’s not a brand new map or something.

I wish they added the PvP mode. They were never going to please the players that are upset over no round based, but if they had added the PvP mode people like me would have happily played zombies again.

No one wants this, they could have given us round based on those MP maps but noooo. 1 word: lazy. The whole "catering to hardcore players" is just an excuse, no hardcore zombies play really wants this and the excuse is just to justify pathetic reusing of assets.
