@@LeeLee-bo3dr I didn't enjoy the British effort, but they released two different versions in the same year and the other was watchable. Neither had the SFX budget of the Tom Cruise movie but that's a given.

But shouldn't we have gotten that wave like 6-8 years ago? After the first movie? Kinda weird to attribute that one to a John Wick Wave nine or so years after the massive success of the first movie. You really think they would wait for an entire four movies and nine years before they would jump on the band wagon? Nah, action movies like Assassin's Club have always been around, even way before John Wick. They've been releasing movies like it now and then since forever. You probably just never noticed or cared before, until the Wick series got so successful.

A horror movie about wanting or not wanting kids...jfc...The Professor looks like an interesting movie, has a charming humor to it with what might be a real message. Cocaine Shark is well...Cocaine Shark.

Oh, I really didn't expect a new version of "War of the Worlds". The effects in "Little Mermaid" still look sh*tty... Too much of a discrepancy between the CGI and the non-CGI-parts. That animation style kind of worked with The Lion King because all the characters stayed as animated characters the whole time, but here they switch to non-animated parts and it just looks... bad.

Another live action movie that no one asked for from Disney. It's pretty bad when cocaine shark is the better of most of these trailers. War of the Worlds has been remade how many times? The rest of the moives...the plot is always the same..."...you don't know the truth, there's some secret.." that we are going to drag out for 90mins while padding it with gore, undeveloped characters and plot holes, wasting your time and money.

Yeah, it's the lure that keeps me watching these things though I generally hate them, especially when they call a streaming series a "New Movie." Just like the picture used for another of these I see on the right; the image is Lillith from the Diablo IV game for that one.

Don't just only blame the movie industry for all this tripe.They tend to make what the buyers want. Recycled baloney is always a best seller with "modern" woke and enlightened audiences now.
