This is the best install video that I came across. The front clips are the toughest part of the installation. Once you move the front seat forward and put the back seat down then when you are sitting on the back seat you can install the front clips very easily. This video made it seem easy and it was. Thank you for your help

As always you did a great job on the video, and your comments are spot on… my biggest complaint is that you lose soooooo much of the window space… if they could make the front, sides and rear portions a lot smaller I would consider purchasing this. As it is, I would rather not lose the window space. Keep up the amazing videos!👍🏻

I wholeheartedly concur with one of your esteemed viewers regarding the superfluousness of granting control over the motorized sunshade to the rear passengers. Shiva, thanks for the nice video, as always! Hansshow is selling an almost identical looking product, which hooks up to the wiring harness behind the 12 outlet, rather than plugging into it. Are you aware of any other differences between the 2 products?

looks like a great product, i like what i see but I completely agree with you about the power source, I hate all things that plug into a cigaret lighter port, I will wait and see if if they will supply a spiter harness behind the plug before buying this, That is a must for me.

two things id like to see before i buy. THINNER BEZZLES! we have such a nice beatiful roof and this makes it smaller. It would be nice if the buttons were smaller and smaller bezzles. And then price. 300 max is what i would pay

I’d imagine the bezel on front, left, and right could get thinner, but the back not so much since the motor is there.

Makes me want to buy a Y lol need one for the 3 of this design for both front and back

I’ve been considering this for a while but how much of the glass view do you loose? This has been the only thing holding me back from buying it.

How does it handle if you have all the windows open are doing highway speeds? That has been my biggest gripe with the removable shades.

I like everything about it except the power cable in the trunk...... and also the high price. I don't care about controls for the second row. This is mainly used to keep the cabin cooler during the day. So, my shade will be closed during the day and open at night. Great review, thank you!

I think the connector routing is easy, clean and efficient design. No panels need to be fully removed or modified. Only better way would be if Elon designs and installs it from factory.

How does it hold up when the windows are open?

Shiva, I have a question about this product in the seven seater: There's already very limited headroom for occupants in the third row seat. How much is that third-row headroom reduced by the motor housing, or by the rest of the sunshade assembly? Thanks.

Third row is unaffected as those seats are further behind the headliner. The headroom for those two seats are more towards the rear glass. Thank you

I wish there was a black trim version to match the interior so it looks more like it's part of the car originally.

Any noise or rattles from it while driving. Also when looking up close how close does it match the stock headliner material?

No rattles or noise, it is a very tight fit. It is slightly lighter color than the headliner but barely noticeable. If you watch the "review" section of the video, I show the difference. Thank you!

Not yet but they did tell me they are working on a motorized Model 3 version.

For the cost, it should be battery powered, with its own backup battery and multiple remotes, with each section having their own control. Half press on front, opens and closes the front section alone, while a long press opens or closes both sections. Same with the remote for rear, except a short press opens/closes section on back. A solar cell on top of border frame could provide automatic charging.

I disagree with the battery powered idea since the battery would get super hot creating a fire hazard. If you wire the battery down to a cooler location, might as well have wiring go directly to the car.

@@HypocritesExposd I do agree if lithium ion chemistry is used. An alternate would be NiMH or NiCad(if thermal runaway/high temp safety is of utmost concern). We do not need high energy density in such applications, that have fairly low duty cycle of operation.

No, 👎👎 this is a bad product (old way). The new one actually doesn't pug into the 12v, the good one has a splitter pug (behind the 12v plug) and looks way more smooth. Try again with a better product this is old already
