So happy he made it! Poor kiddo that was close! Good thing they're sturdy! It's nice to hear how many people cared and did their best to get him to you as quickly as possible. Most people do love animals as off sizes and shapes. Great job! Great looking fish! He sssoooo gorgeous and cute! Seals is sooo beautiful! Can't wait to see him with the big B's! He might like the chichlids in the pool!

This is what Ohio Fish Rescue is all about hopefully the Red Tail makes a full recovery, the UPS lady will be in awe when she comes for her tour. SFMF!

Lovely to hear that some people will go over and above what they need to do. I hope your red tailed cat makes it and doesn't get sick they're one of my favourite catfish. I no longer keep fish because of where I live now but once in the blood it's there for life. KEEP FISHY 👍

This adult (7:28) is more similar to the Tambaqui (Colossoma macropomum) due to its physical characteristics, but they are look alike. The Pacu (name given to several species of the Myleinae family) as well as other species, when young, mimic the Piranha (Pygocentrus nattereri) to scare off possible predators and allow them to grow. As Big Rich said, they lose their red color when they become adults. This specimen may be of the Pirapitinga species (Piaractus brachypomus), the same family as Piranhas (Serrasalmidae), which is why it hasn't lost its red color. Hugs to you from Brazil! 🥰🥰

Well I moved to Las Vegas from Wisconsin and had ups ship my fish and it was a Friday night the shipment was a day late already and I spent problems 8 hours of my day on and off the phone with them trying to find my fish. So finally at like 830 at night I called the ware house and told them if they didn't find my package of over a 1000 dollars worth of fish I was buying the place to the ground I hung up they called back 5 minutes later the shipping manager told me come to the warehouse and pick up the box so we get there at pike 930 at night. My fish have been sitting in an enclosed truck and trailer all day in 100 plus degree weather I for sure thought they would have been dead I immediately opened the box the water was like 90 degrees I did about 100 thru Vegas to get home and save my fish. So I'm glad you had a good experience me not so much have not ordered a fish online sense then been 5 years

I'm glad it made it there safe and there's not a sad ending those red tail catfish are tough as hell yeah if he would have done his normal route that fish would have never have made it yeah that one arapaima that they got in their overflow pond yeah he reminds me of Brutus when he used to pop the food way back when yeah this one he has an attitude to him

@@TheJSchup the original packaging was not what showed up to them. It was my first time ever shipping a fish, so I did the best I could with the help from a local breeder who ships often. The bags the fish showed up in were the bags that the ups station in Columbus replaced because of a leak.

Personally I think he's learning from Brutus don't pop the water let the pellets fall let the little fish come over and we can get a fish snack instead of the pellets I think it's funny how you know those fish can actually learn that if they just hold back and let the little fish come in they can get a snack

God that reminds me when Brutus used to do it yeah ask Skyler why you don't stick your hand down by an arapaima and tap the water
