New Model A Spoked Wheels Get Power Coated
Powder coating? I had never heard of this before. And I have been around for awhile. So, maybe you will like watching my first experience with the process of powder coating, and the friendly explanation by Steve, the owner of Dog House Powder Coating on how this is done.

Hi Randall, I just watched the previous video of changing the tyres, have you considered blasting and powder coating the the other 3 wheels as well?

Hey Bob, thank you for watching my videos and for your comment! Yes, I do plan on blasting and powder coating the other three wheels, eventually. But first, I need to have the new tires mounted on the new wheels. And Dog House Powder Coating is backed up for several weeks if not months. I expect to post videos on both of these enhancements to my Model A. Thanks again!

@@randallwingett Thanks for the swift reply, I actually started with your frozen gutter guard video, we don't have that problem Down Under, then your model A tyre change caught my eye and had to watch it and then the powder coat video.😊 BTW I noticed that after the first new tyre was mounted, it had wheel weights on the rim, but I didn't see him balance the wheel, hope you haven't got shaky steering now. Sub'ed and I'll keep my eye open for the follow up, Cheers from Australia

First thing I thought of. Used to spray Sermatel coatings on Turbine shafts for United Airline engines. Spray it on (need respirator for everything.) Let air dry and bake it in this giant oven a little bigger that those. 600 degree F for 60 minutes. Do it twice. Bullet proof coating for corrosion prevention. That Powder Coating looks awesome.
