NEW MJJC FOAM CANNON S v3 | How does it compare to the Foam Cannon Pro

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The MJJC Foam Cannon pro has been my favorite foam cannon for a long. The price, performance, and features of that foam cannon make it the best value in my opinion. But MJJC just launched a new Foam Cannon... The MJJC S v3.0. The S line actually sits one tier below the Pro line, but with some pretty cool new features and an awesome redesign i wanted to put these two head to head and see how they compare. ENJOY!!!

Josh, I've always enjoyed keeping my car clean, but I wasn't in love with my last car. I've got a new car I love and finally getting back into car car after 9 years. The market has totally changed. I love the newer products, they are easier and more fun to use. Watching your videos brought me up to speed on all the new innovations. I picked up a pressure washer, MJJC foam cannon and stocked my garage with a combination of Chemical Guys and Meguiars products. Thanks for your content!

Hi Josh, recent subscriber to you channel and really like the content and detail you put into it. It’s not easy to not only make the video, but also to keep the info real, practical and truthful. I don’t think I’ll every technically wear out any of the MJJC foam cannons, but I have plenty of experience with o-ring seals on hydraulic fittings and believe me they will fail over time. I’m sure that you will have the those foam cannons working hard a lot, every day, unlike a guy like me that may use it once a week, and that depends on the weather. Besides trucks are make to have a little mud on the tires. I’ll be getting the Pro V2 from you, for making this video for us and looking forward to some tips and reviews on care cleaning products from your past content. Keep up the great work and will pass it along.

That V3 looks top-heavy to me. The base is smaller while the bottle is taller. I DO like the graduated clear bottle with the twist-lock neck. I would recommend to MJJC for their next model (Version 4?) to use the shape of the V2 bottle but in a graduated, clear plastic. The MJJC Pro I got from you along with the 2.0 is good enough for me. And, thanks for the tips.👍

Another GREAT Review! I have to agree with others. I'm not convinced the new Color with the tall skinny bottle is worth the Extra $15 although I really like the Quarter Turn ultra clear bottle does add some value. As with everything New & Improved the price point will likely move down once the supply chain is saturated and pre sales normalize.

The MTM is still a sick foam cannon. While everyone goes gaga for extra thick foam, it actually has less cleaning ability than the slightly runnier foam. Though the MTM still can put put buckets of shaving cream. The one advantage of MTM's is that you can purchase additional bottles and bottle caps. So you can have a bunch of capped of bottles of premixed solution, one for wheels, one for degreaser, on and on...and just switch the bottles out. This way you also don't have to use and clean out the solution if you don't want/need to.

Only gripe with the new one is that is uses a clear plastic that even seems thinner which usually doesn't hold up to uv and element exposure, that it shouldn't see much of, that might make it decay faster than it's predecessor. It also leaks excessively when turned up side down.

Picked up a chemical guys torq 8 foam cannon from Ollie's for $40. Put the MJJC filter in it and the foam was noticably thicker and stuck to the car for much longer. I have a cheaper pressure washer that only puts out 1000psi and 1gpm so I'm curious what that cannon would do with ~2000psi and 2 gpm.

The bottle on the V3 looks cheaper and not as heavy. For me, I'll be ordering the Pro V2 from your website here soon. Any current promotions or upcoming sales by chance?

I got the V3 and I kind of wish I got the pro. I'm not too upset as I took a gamble and got mine off of TEMU (my first purchase) Shipping wasn't fast, about a week. Neither is the packaging (bag over the box). But, it came in one piece, is legit (from what I can tell), and was half the retail cost.

@@davoncci I definitely like it better than the cheap Amazon one I had before. I like the connection of the V3 but I don't like how tall it is.

I need your expert opinion. I just bought the Greenworks Pro 3000 PSI 2.0GPM. What orifice do you recommend I buy that would lower my PSI below 2000 and increase my GPM to ~2.0. I'm afraid of buying the wrong thing, if you could send me a link I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Thanks for the video, Josh. Think I'll be sticking with my Foam Cannon Pro v2 since the performance is pretty much the same and I prefer the bottle on the Pro model. One thing I have to ask, is the bottle on the Foam Cannon S the same thickness as the Pro? It might just be because the bottle is clear, but the S bottle seems to be of thinner construction than the Pro.

Those are my thoughts exactly. The bottle on the V3 looks cheaper and thinner and I'm NOT a fan of the quick connect type head versus the threaded head on the V2. In my honest opinion, I feel like they cheapened the design and are charging more.

Hi, I just ordered this cannon from the website. I have an electric pressure washer 1600psi. Wondering if when using the cannon is the pressure washer hooked up to a garden hose water supply or is the foam just being produced from the solution and water from the cannon itself? Thanks in advance those who answer!

I don't know why they made the base narrower. The stability of a FC is key to me.

Yea it wider than the original s line. They may have kept it narrower so it didn’t compete with the pro?

My new S v3 has a small hole molded into the lid, apparently to allow air to enter the bottle while dispensing the liquid. If the foam cannon tips over, it leaks, which is rather annoying.

Yea color is awesome. As far as the clear bottle goes, I’ve had experience with clear spray bottles in the past and the clear ones did have the possibility of breaking down faster it seemed. I’ll use this one and beat it up pretty good to test out the longevity of it!!!
