Good morning 🩷💖 Who’s excited about this new perfume launch? The Miss Dior Chérie circa 2009 was my signature scent, and still to this day is one of my all time favourite perfumes. What are your thoughts on this new version from Francis Kurkdjian?

💗I agree with you, Miss Dior Chèrie was such a perfect creation! I so want it back, i'll manifest it 😹 don't know why they wouldn't listen to their most loyal customers, bc i think many of us want that gorgeous fragrance back. I haven't tried this one yet (not available in my country rn), but i'm certain i'll buy it as soon as it arrives 😹😹 Thank you!!!

Miss Dior Chérie was a *2005* fragrance, originally. The strawberry in this Parfum is very similar to MDC. And there *is* something reminiscent about the popcorn note from MDC in it, even though there’s no popcorn in it. By no means an exact copy. But I can get how some people are smelling similarities, as they absolutely do share some of the same notes.

I feel the exact same way. On me, the fruity notes are intensified but not an exact dupe to MDC.

Thank you for being honest and for telling the truth. As a MDC lover, I feel furious and frustrated when seeing some influencers trying to sell this as MDC dupe. No it is NOT.

Fingers crossed it arrives soon 💖 It was rather bold of me to order it without trying it first, but I ended up loving it so it was worth it.

So sad... Because I was desperately looking for a Chérie "dupe". That Miss Dior was my first love...so decadent and enchanting😍 I was really disappointed when they decided to discontinue it😢 Nowadays, I really enjoy the "Absolutely blooming" flanker and even have a couple of bottles ☺️ Ty Allison for your honest review! I got the 35ml as my travel size LOL

The warm amber base and the strawberry is what makes this similar to Miss Dior Cherie, there is pachouli in this one so it’s not totally gone. It’s got the Cherie vibes for me and I got the largest bottle which is 80ml 👍

Thanks for the info! I also get some faint Cherie vibes but not a total dupe. I’m not made at it though, it’s still so beautiful and I love amplified the fruity notes are.

Francis K also did the reformulation on the latest release of J’ Dore L’ Or, which was released summer 23’. Not full bottle worthy for me, but the reviews have been positive!!

Great review…I like this new take on the fragrance but i wouldn’t say it’s my favourite out of all the Miss Dior’s…..but i do love it. My all time favourite was i think back in 2004 ‘Dior me Dior me not’ i loved that perfume and used it like there was no tomorrow only to be absolutely gutted/traumatised that it was Limited Edition and i was unable to purchase it. My hubby who was boyfriend back then had bought it me from Duty Free at Heathrow Airport still break’s my heart to this day 😢🤍

I tried the OP and there was a lot of citrus in the opening which is odd cause MDC is not a citrus scent.

I'm just dreaming of Miss Cherie again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!4 Anyway I tried this new one, similar, but really not the same. Thank you, nice presentation!😊

Great review!! I do like the Miss Dior 2021 version, such a good go to fragrance. The Parfum version sounds like it would be a little more flirty!! I would have loved to have smelled the Miss Cherie version, with the popcorn,Carmel, and strawberry notes!! Yum!!!♥️❣️🍓🍿

Miss Dior was my fragrance too. It's the only one I have ever missed wearing as well. I gave up sampling the reformulations as none ever worked for me. This new one sounds right up my alley... only available at Dior though? It's going to take a heap of courage to blind buy 😬Thank you for your insights and first impressions! 🎀

Currently yes it is only available through the Dior link. I imagine that other retailers will sell it in person as time goes on. I bought it blindly and was very happy with the results. But it I always a risk.

I have the most recent Miss Dior Eau de Parfum - purchased online - from Dior. I like it, but it’s not what I remember. Probably would have preferred the Parfum. Right now, Chanel # 19 is what I’m wearing daily. Love your eye look - possible for you to model that in an upcoming video? Happy Valentine’s Day Alli 💜💗💜!

Idole Nectar is one of my favourote perfumes! It is very fresh floral clean and sweet whit that buttery popcorn , it is elegant, feminine and very long lasting with a great projection. In the dry it is sooo warm and sexy but clean, not very gourmand. Is this new Miss Dior perfume all year round signature sent, or spring and summer vibe?❤ Thanks!

I lovveeed the miss Cherie 2005 I have looked for something like it since because it was my signature scent and when the discontinued it I grabbed another bottle that lasted till 2015. I was so hopping they would have gotten it right this time. I need that strawberry caramel popcorn and nothing else less😢

Interested to try this one. The first Dior perfume I ever liked was Dolce Vita, until The Miss Dior Au de parfum in the pink bottle was released, which I love. I dont like Blooming Bouquet or the Eu de Toilette. Do you think I might this new one if I like the au de parfum in the pink bottle?

First impression: It’s a slightly more complex absolutely blooming. Very comparable… It’s like Absolutely Blooming/Alien Goddess Intense mix. Seems to be equal intensity to AB as well.

It is there is a lot of woody earthy notes with a strong strawberry top note that fades fast I would say it's a lot less feminine than the other miss diors I have but it is a very deep beautiful scent
