Same here, some of it is course management e.g. going for the shot and not taking your medicine or playing the percentage shot. If I swing too fast arms take over and it’s a horrible over the top swing. I can go from Pars on low index holes to 8 and 9’s

What a great addition to the already brilliant content. I've been topping my fairway woods so badly of late that the 3 wood and hybrid have been left out of the bag. I have incorporated the “Over the stick, under the stick” drill into all my clubs and now I absolutely SMASH my 3 wood. Actually, keeping that as my only swing thought along with a little mental trick I use to keep my rotation centered (move my leading side pocket at the ball on takeaway, then move my trailing pocket at the ball in the downswing) and after correctly sorting my sequence and timing, that little exercise made a profound improvement in my ball striking with ALL my clubs.. Consistently pure strikes one after the other with literally every club. So thanks for that guys!!! 👍🏻😎👍🏻

My swing is quite good. I dont hit fat or top the ball. I get good height and length and accuracy. The thing is, it would take ages to explain how I do it. Once I've gone through all the many swing thoughts and feel confident then only three remain. Balance, the down, out, and up backswing with correct angle of attack away from the ball maintaining spine angle and leading edge. And attack angle down through the ball for ball then ground contact. The only problem is, I don't get to go for a game due to pressing comittments. Maybe one day I'll get a break. Lucky you. Your out there alot. Cheers golf mates.

Fairway woods are designed to be hit with the top 2/3 of the face. Roll and bulge on these club faces will help launch that ball. If you almost think you actually want the top half of the face to hit the ball when you swing, it helps get that sweet spot.

Liam, I am what you disparagingly call an ‘alien’.😉 For the last few weeks, I have been pulling my irons to the right. At first, I thought that I might be closing the face of my club as a result of trying to establish the forward lean in the club shaft. But I think it may be more than that. It could be that I am standing too far from the ball in my address. Any suggestions from “Ric Flair”?

Grip pressure made such a big difference and the club head weight feel was a massive eye opener. Biggest problem I have is taking a 1/2 or 3/4 swing and making it into a full swing. Once I complete my turn I lose my swing almost immediately and then can’t get back to a consistent position. I have a fair amount of DTL swing videos.
