Maybe your HP is very high if you combine evil staff with stellar fighter, you could use Water Priest Robe

with that build, you can get 100% ail res without stat mtl 255 right? if i just put mtl stat 200 or less, should i put the rest to int mtl agi?

im using same build with additional skill like : nightmare (debuff mdef+def monster), regretless(additional p+m.resis,), dual shield ( for boss that use pattern like shark fin,rush etc. except meteor and spike but we have enchanted barrier for that so no worries), soul hunter () gloria (boost def+mdef) and also frontliner 1+2 ( 1 for aggro boost while 2 boost hp idk how much hp got bossted,my initial hp 3k+ after 8k plus, plus 5k maybe around that number) also in enchanted barrier skill desc it stated weapon performance(idk what is this,maybe weapon with high attk and weapon refine also affect it). pros of this tank build : gud on prorate (spam magic knife) , support (attk,def,mp rec) and the BEST PART no mp rec worries for us. cons : barier reduce skill aggro(need high aggro especially if ur pt have DW spammer), fricking death without barrier (this why need skill and dual shield). for equipment me personally use customize eq, stacked those INT stat( Int affect barrier) and aggro stat. for shield and add its same with kriss-san. xtall full aggro except ring stump with etoise and sicanokami( sica ampr yes, but again it cuase int,weapon performance AND MANA that recovered inside barrier affect barrier durability not like u gonna spam all skill only u need to basic attack also). so far is fun to play its a breeze against Breeta very hard 280 even with lvl 247(now im 264). also my build make adrenaline soar high because of regretless😂😂 if not seeing regret duration u done for 😂😂😂. only hope is asobimo didnt nerf it drastically in future😅😅.

Question about the ring can i use full blossom charmstone (Mp 200, aspd/cspd +750, ailment res -8%) instead of time warp watch or do i need that +1000 attack speed badly?

Another skill you may want to get is soulhunt, cause staff tank only have magic burst for i frame, and it's hard to use cause you need the stacking. Can't use elegant poise either. You'll be screwed on bosses like etoise

or grab fereth since you just stand still and hit the boss miles away

12m power wave is kind of bad, you need to walk 5m to use staff trust. Shield uppercut also only has 4m range. Level 5 power wave at 9 m range should be good enough so you walk shorter to interrupt. But then again you can also use power wave modifier registlet when needed

Use Magic daggers to attack from far away Use Power wave registlet to remove the ranged and attack at Melee (Obviously situational, but on my Mage tank I preffer melee)

If you only want to do Adventurer's Garb 2s TEC has no affect ; TEC is for refining, statting or synthesizing. In the case of the Enchanted Barriers you must use INT to increase its HP. If you want a Tank VIT MTL you better use OHS

Nahh bro, I don't wanna wait 5s to maxim every after death. But maybe manually-tapping 1mp combo (reflex>barrier>maxim) with emergency mp regist isn't a bad idea '-')

Imagine a staff fu with ashura always on then spam barrier>maxim. That would be a free 100 ailres and even more dmg reduction. Insane stuff happening rn

The thing is using shield allows you to use shield cannon to stun. Staff doesn't have reliable stun other than that

@@yunan9610 I tried tanking with 75% stun from bash and from my experience, it isn't that bad. The only thing holding it back is the delay due to low mot (bash 1st hit, so no barrier sadly)

At least not in this Build since the barrier damage reduction is applied at the end so sanctuary will not reduce the damage if you have low MaxHP

You could not interrupt the boss in any way, it is one of the main jobs of a Tank

just notice does the minstrel even heal the barrier ?

@@yadooomadooo3833 yes, from what I read the barrier damage reduction is applied at the end of the damage calculation. Guard will be a little useful to you but I guess it will break very quickly if you have low HP🤔

Las builds de dps/tank en un mismo personaje no me gustan pero si hiciera una elegiría STR o DEX/CRT o incluso MTL como segundo stat. Es mejor tener poco HP para recibir menos daño fraccional

Then what you want? All bosses have crazy aoe right now, if they nerf qadal and remove the fast stack ability they need to give mage survivalablity to cast their skill for stacking their high tier skills. Because all of dps other than mage is never casting except using decoy.

And this tank only work if you can reach max lvl cap that give a lot of int. For early game this class have very low ailment resist because you use that atat point to fill up int first. The barrier hp without int is just a joke bro
