Having acces to coolant, gearbox AND oil temps is something i love about the New A calss platform, you get it in all the models, and its such a nice feature. It allows you to see when the car is properly warm, and ready for a quick back road thrash!

... and finally there is the Banana-package for €1200 that includes a special paintscheme to match the roof line...

The flexibility that Mercedes has with this platform is insane! One platform and you have the A-Class family, the CLA Family, the B-Class, the upcoming GLB and the new GLA. All use the same set of engines and a lot of other bits and pieces as well, R&D is drastically reduced but the profits are higher as there is something for everyone.

Looks damn ugly though. The octavia wagon, the golf r wagon, and especially the Audi rs4 and rs6 wagon all look loads better. This model looks best in hatchback only

Do a standard carwow drag races between new 2020 CLA45S Shooting Brake (421hp) and 2019 Seat Cupra Wagon/Kombi ST (300hp). Not new cupra but older one that came after Cupra R... Both merc and cupra are AWD.

Did just somebody slapped the rear so hard it got swelled the wrong way??

I think it’s a cool car, maybe not in yellow, cos you don’t see many CLA estates on the road (unlike Golf Rs and S3s) it has some exclusivity about it
