Thank you for this excellent video of M.Y. Nord - surely one of Lürssen's finest. It's relief to watch a video where the up-loader credits his viewers with having an attention span greater than that of a goldfish. Most You Tube up-loaders would either have speeded up this video or edited out large sections of it. Instead, Javier Rullan Ruano takes the opportunity, with his faultless camera work and editing, to provide us with lingering close-ups of this magnificent yacht contrasting them with scenes of the deck-hands preparing to make berth. No music and no inane commentary. I wish more people on You Tube would follow his example.

Seen a lot of Mega Yacht’s, plus owned countless fishing/pleasure boats! This by far, is the Most, elegant, beautiful, one of a King Mega Yacht! Absolutely the greatest Mega Yacht on the Planet! Beauty and Elegance are an understatement for this Fabulous Mega Yacht! Love it!

I have to disagree. This thing looks like a military ship rather than a luxury yacht. Look at The Eclipse super yacht or Luminosity by Benetti. Both are far better design and more grand than this. Wider 165 (and the 180), while much smaller is also a personal favorite of mine, not to mention the incredible technology put into it with hybrid engines making it very quite.

I'm docked about 1 mile away from it and it still looks huge. Nord is currently cruising through the Maldives

Back during the cold war, the USSR used "fishing boats" as Intelligence gathering vessels. That "yacht" has a lot equipment. I wouldn't let that thing near a military operation or base. I'd keep a serious eye on it.

With all those huge exhausts and satellite balls sat at the very top off the boat do you think the owner is trying to make up for something tiny elsewhere.

You have to be a billionaire a number of times over to afford a boat like this - being a millionaire won't cut it, you'd spend over half your wealth just on the boat, and the rest on its upkeep haha - it would financially ruin you :D That aside, she's an awesome sight - I still like Flying Fox though :D

Nord is not a super yacht. This is a ship. Beautiful, but who could enjoy this having to spend time looking for the rest of your party?

The yacht is fine. However, a society that allows you to have this amount of wealth is almost grotesque.
