Surprise? He was obviously very impressed. Fantastic drivers in IndyCar over the years. You have to be very good (and lucky) to win the 500, which Kenny did in 1999. He almost lost his life driving IndyCar. Good to see him doing well and having fun. He has a good gig with McLaren.

You know it's fast when Mr JWW can't even make a noise during the ride.

I was playing FH4 while watching this video and so I got in the Senna in the game. Surprisingly, the car sounds are really accurate. It's one of the few cars in the game that they clearly got right. It's still lacking in rawness and volume but then all the cars in the game are.

If my memory is correct he did spend half a season, or so, as F1 test driver, and he also got a contract to race. But at the pre-season tests he realized the car wasn't fast enough to win so he terminated the contract himself. That's how competitive the guy is. He went on to race in the US instead, rather successfully, winning the Indy 500 among other things. Also, in that crash his earbud sensor recorded a peak force of 214 g, which is the highest documented any human has ever survived.

This was Brilliant, just Brilliant. The Senna was insane. I loved watching you drive you a Turbo S up the hill and you never took your hands off the wheel no matter how crossed up you get. It tell me a great deal as to your caliber of driver. Some of the reviewers the way the drive is down right scary. You showed good control. At the Long Beach Grand Prix the last Conner leading on to the long front straightaway is so important to get right for max top end speed. I would get so crossed up but I would never let myself move my hands over. I’ve driven this course in a Formula Atlantic car in 12 events. I just love getting as close to the wall as possible and a few conners the exit was off camber and my god was that fun to give it a bit more peddle just to get the rear end out of line. Sorry, to get carried away with my experience. This is your show and I love it. Ted

@amarjit singh well I'm not talking about his opinion. Its aerodynamics. Not opinions. Even a pickup can corner no doubt. Even if they make one speedtail gtr, it will have a complete redesign on its aero. It's a GT car and not for the track.

Any clips of the Speedtail going up the hill. Sat in it the day before in Ripley, Surrey and was blown away by the design and love the central driving position. Stunning car in gud flesh.

It’s always hard to describe the buzz/high of a car event, particularly one that you have tajken part in, in your own car - always sounds like you are sensationalising the moment when you are describing it, but the reality is, they really are that good.
