The 40V max XGT Microwave, (MW001GZ, Microwave Only) is an ideal addition to any job site, outdoor activity, or wherever food on the go is needed. The Microwave features 2 mode power output levels at 350 watt and 500 watt. The MW001GZ is Ideal for transportation with a built-in carrying handle and space-saving design at 1.5 cubic feet. It features a durable water-resistant design, dust-resistant inlet port, and tempered glass door. It's powered by one 40V max XGT battery but features a two-battery bay with auto switching: when the first battery is depleted it automatically switches to the second battery for longer run time. There is a rotary knob that controls heating times which can be preset in 10-second increments up to 20 minutes. Convenience features include L.E.D. display panel with heating time display and battery fuel gauge. It also features a built-in USB port for charging portable electronic devices. The MW001GZ features a interior L.E.D. light that turns on when the door is opened and while in use. I need this in my life!
Strange not to have an AC input and integrated charging circuit on such a bulky, high draw item.
It’s just a stupid microwave. They need to release a cordless table saw and cordless compressor. Getting sick of Makita’s gimmicks.

Hoping for a table saw as well. They did just release a 40V XGT compressor AC001GZ. We made a video run-through last week and we will post it in the next week or two

@@toolnut nice, unfortunately I’m on LXT and I’m trying to stick to one battery system. Seems like if they do release a table saw it will be 40V. I think if they released a 40V table saw I would consider selling all my 18V stuff and rebuying everything in 40V, but that scenario would not be ideal and it will definitely be expensive.

@@isthislive464you must go to the country club for lunch every day. I work on a job site, sometimes with no electricity, and definitely nowhere to warm up a meal that I brought for lunch ( not country club like you) So yeah, a microwave is a good idea

@@robs1873 lol I actually figured out a way to survive a day without heating up my lunch and draining a whole battery to do it. But truthfully I do like the cordless microwave concept, but would rather have more useful tools to make money.
