Even though I don't care for extreme cold or heat, I always like to say I can add layers but I can only take off so much. Fall is my favorite season for collection and weather.

I can't wait Dior Fall collection. I love the packaging. I lean toward pretty packaging. LOL

I actually returned Phlur Vanilla Skin last week - no lasting power (gone in about 1hr). The vanilla aspect is quite faint with the cashmere wood being more prominent to me. Like you, very excited for the Autumn collections. In the summer my makeup is more minimal due to the heat and for me it takes away the fun of makeup (a smokey eye on a sweltering day just doesn't work on me) 🙃

I have mature dry skin with fine lines and texture. In my youth I loved powder foundation because it was so quick. The La Mer Powder Foundation is beautiful on my skin. Coverage is light to medium and it minimizes imperfections. But my shade is hard to come by which leads me to believe it is about to be either reformulated or discontinued. I cannot wait to try the Cle De Peau powder foundation.

I was surprised when my email from Chanel for the the Fall Fashion runway preview featured the “dandelion” collection of makeup. I’m wondering if and when they will release a fall makeup collection? I’m looking forward to the Dior Blush Duos, they look lovely. I agree with you on the weather. It has been unusually brutal here in the East. Temperatures in the 90’s with high humidity is not my idea of balmy days. I received my Williams Sonoma Fall Preview today,so I know that beautiful season of Autumn is not too far away🍁

I’m excited about the Chanel thick eyeliner and the Dior foundation sticks and the limited edition eyeshadow 😍😍✨ Zouzou is good but very faint (vanilla-y kinda sweet like candy but light and so far not strong l) and I’m with you and rouge G lipsticks 😤 and the Fleur Vanilla smells very good smells like a traditional fluffy vanilla ☁️ I smelt it at the Sephora near me you should be able to smell it there 😊☺️ I can’t wait for Celine to come out with their make up line I hope it’s good

I am really looking forward to one of the Hermès lipsticks, number 73 I believe (the deep rose one). I hope it's satin or regular matte and it is not the formula with the metallic shift, because I really want it!

I hope the Dior foundation stick can replace in a way my beloved Dior AirFlash.

I tried the Phulr strawberry one in Space NK (UK) and it was very sweet fruity - jammy, as opposed to fresh, if that makes sense. There was also a bit of a lily (the stargazer one, not 'of the valley') undercurrent.

I was not jumping to get the new Chanel single eyeshadows but the lilac you have had on your lids these last couple of videos is just stunning! I did get the new Guerlain lipstick case in the Art Deco style with a satin lipstick. I get that they wanted to make their production more cost effective but still - odd choice to make, not thinking of us consumers with the old cases. Still could not resist the sleek design of that specific case 🙄

For anyone interested: I am about ready to re-purchase MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold. I was in Bloomingdale's in Atlanta. I asked if it was ever included in a sale, gift with purchase, etc. I was told that Bloomingdales is having a 15% off $150 and above sale this weekend. MFK is included. LE Labo and Space NK is not. Most beauty and fragrance is. Yeah for me!!!

Jen, the Dior Collection of the Cheek Palettes and the Bronzer/Contour Sticks are available in Australia now. There are actually six of the Cheek Palettes. Two are Bronzer/Highlighter and the others Blush/Highlighter. I wouldn't be in a rush for the pale pink blush, as that can't be seen on the skin it's so very, very pale. The adjoining lilac Highlighter is beautiful, but the blush is undetectable. Jen, I tried a once off sample of Guerlain's Watery Oil and now I have the entire skincare collection! I'm just curious as to what you're going to do when the next Quads come out? Can you stay that angry? Their 24ct Primer is also available with silver beads and rose too. I discovered Aura Glow at a rather reduced price last night and succumbed due to loving the shades. As for Dior, I'll buy the Addict Lip Case, yet that's it. Not even the eye-shadows interest me anymore. I'm at a time where I know I have far too much and don't need to make my life more difficult nor my bank account depleted. Instead, I've veered towards fragrance and had three turn up last week alone. Maybe one or two more and thats it!🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨

Hi Jen, I’m feeling better now I know that I am not the only person who hates summers.😁 I live in Sydney, Australia and summer time it’s a nightmare for me. I am interested in one eyeshadow quint from Dior - the silver one. I like the packaging and I know that the formula it’s better than their regular line and the summer collection. Definitely I will buy the new Hermes eyeshadow and actually any new eyeshadows from Hermes unless the colour story is not wearable for me. You didn’t mention the new fall collection from Chanel. I saw the new eyeshadows and they are a hard pass for me. The colour story (both quads) are terrible but very good for Halloween for who is interested 😂and for people who are after something “different”. Or for people who buy anything from Chanel, no matter if it’s wearable or not. Also I will skip the new Chanel blushes. I don’t wear highlighter (in this case half of the pallet) and not a fan of the Chanel formula for blushes. So far I am very disappointed about these new creative directors from Chanel. Thanks for sharing!🙂

I’m always extremely enthused for that Hermes eyeshadow quad. Highly recommend Missing Person from Phlur. It’s a subdued, white floral scent that you could wear in almost any situation because the throw is so close. It always works well when it’s hot as all get out.

I picked up the YSL silver packaging palette from Selfridges on sale! It was $45 I think? Anyway, just love it🙂 And I love the Dior Fall collection, will pick up soon.

Thanks for the great video Jen. I got 3 out the 4 Dior eyeshadows at Harrods and love them. I couldn’t wait for them to come to the U.S. The collection also has two new eyeliners in pearly rose and pearly cobalt that are pretty! Are you going to try the new hourglass liquid blushes that are out? I ordered a few. I heard they are really nice.

Fall is my favorite seasonal too. I love fall and the makeup collections for fall

The strawberry phlur is nice, somehow it reminds me of the old Givenchy Very Irresistible Sensual edp. For a strawberry scent I prefer Cape Heartache, as it feels so foresty and nostalgic. The other fruity Phlur perfumes are fun too, if you're into that type of scent. I do love the travel bottles.

Thank you for this. I think YSL will be getting some of my money this fall. Do you know who does a great dark red/burgundy lipstick? I am looking for something with a satin finish (and hopefully a coordinating gloss) or a balm with staying power. I am hoping to see some in the fall releases. Also, I like packaging. I won't buy for it, but if I have similar products and one is prettier---I will pick the prettier package. I just bought a pair of Larroude shoes for an event later this year---burgundy velvet, 2 inch heel, mary jane with rhinestone buckle. The shoes had me, but they also sent 2 shoe bags, stickers, and a silly plastic gold cowboy boot charm. I was in love before I put the shoe on. BTW, it fit, didn't bug my feet, and was half a size smaller than my usual. It was also packed impeccably. Chef's kiss!

I think women that like fashion prefer fall . We get to wear more layers and be more creative with makeup . I grew up in Arizona it was boring when it came to fashion. Omg and the heat 😅 I don’t miss living there at all . ..well maybe sometimes in the middle of winter 😂

So love watching your videos!! Here me out: powder foundation in the summer! I have combination skin. Now that I’m in menopause after surgery, I notice when it’s humid I’m too greasy, especially with sunscreen. I get dry sometimes and then I get oily sometimes. Weird. I use the Dior powder foundation under properly moisturized skin in the summer. It’s perfect! I just wanted to mention it because I feel like many people feel like cream products work better in the summer and I totally disagree lol

Been wanting to get my nose on Zou Zou too. Hope it comes to US. soon. I only have Soft Spot in the Phlur line. It’s nice, but doesn’t last long or project particularly well, more of a skin scent to me. Not sure if those characteristics apply to the entire House or just SS.

I got the Phlur discovery set during the last Sephora sale. All of them smell fine, but they are so weak that I will not be getting any full bottles. Overall, they were just fine, nothing exciting.

I've heard nothing but raves on KGD spa water, however it's so expensive that I have a hard time justifying it. Do you feel it makes it easy to remove eye make up too? Also, do you now when the powder blush and highlighter is expecting to be released? Thanks!
