I also just wanted to briefly compare to the Kosas Revealer Foundation, since I forgot to mention in the video LOL. I would say the Kosas is creamier, and has slightly more coverage. The Haus Labs is thinner and more lightweight overall but drier skin types or people who want more coverage might like the Kosas better. The Kosas is still an excellent foundation and one I reach for when my skin is more problematic. I think I will either do a battle of skincare foundations a bit later or mention my final foundation roundup at the end of the year, so subscribe to stay tuned!

I had to return the Kosas foundation because it reeeaaally emphasized my texture and at the time, I didn't have a powder that could save that finish. The kosas powder wouldn't blur like the brand recommended. On my skin, the kosas cloud set just looks like skin yet sets in nicely, then gives my skin a controlled glow throughout the day. I truly love the powder, it's my favorite and one of the very few powders that doesn't break me out. I just felt like it didn't pair with the Kosas foundation well. It did with the concealer though. Anywho, since that one was a flop for me, I am excited to try the Haus labs one especially because I've heard and seen great things. Plus it's made in Korea, hehe

@@StacyChenBeauty I would have kept trying to make it work because I love Kosas but it seemed to be wearing the same way that the Tower29 Sunny Days skin tint would wear on me. I gave that one away to a friend for the same reason.

Thank you for the shade comparisons on the blushes and all of the detailed descriptions! I completely agree with you about lots of things appearing more warm on the skin, I get that too! I also love rosy/mauvy makeup☺️

yay I’m glad! I would say it’s deeper/rosier than mood exposure. gucci is the most muted rose that’s still a rose if that makes sense HAHA

OoOooOo at first I was going to pass on the haus lab foundation, but your review has convinced me to try it! I like lighter, more skincare like foundations. Also my lashes are the same too. I recently started using Asian mascaras (kiss me heroine! Japanese brand) and it is GAME CHANGING to use Asian mascara for Asian lashes. Who knew 😅 😂

Ooh thank you for comparing that tower 28 blush with rare beauty ones. I literally thought that the office hours would look similar to either encourage, believe, or hope, so this really answered my doubt! I can see that they're quite different, but if you had to choose only one between office hours and encourage/hope, which one would you choose?

@@StacyChenBeauty Yes! I knew I botched the name. I'm thinking about that since I thought Heliotrope would look too much like what my natural skin redness looks like. For example the rare beauty neutral shade in the pink mochi packaging just blended right into that exact undertone making it look like coverage came off my cheeks and my redness was peaking through. If that makes sense. I personally go for bright cool tones or peachy blushes because I know am I am safe with both of those options. But I really want to branch out and find other flattering shades. So I got Tower28 office hours and Em Cosmetics Baroque which let me tell you, I am so happy about. I feel like Baroque goes with everything! It truly is my perfect neutral with a hint of pink.

waterproof mascara is the answer !! i don’t have problems w waterproof (altho I once tried a maybelline waterproof one and it sucked bc it made my lashes fall which normally doesn’t happen to me w waterproof)

I think we have very similar skin tones and I was matched to 110 'light neutral'. Now i'm so worried if i was matched correctly LOL

ooh I feel like 110 might be too dark, but I think 100 (also light neutral) could work for my skin tone! I would recommend trying in store though!

you have perfect skin. if i were you i wouldn't even wear foundation - you lucky gal. I would just use a sunscreen. thanks it does look pretty.

ooh very good comparison! Just swatched on my hand to check- gucci rosy beige is actually more brown/grey, tarte exposed has more rose to it. Gucci also appears a bit deeper bc of that brown in it. The gucci shade is pretty unique imo but Obvs the vibes are similar
