We got to test out the new MacDon R216 SP Rotary Disc Header combined with the M1240 Swather. Our field is what we call our "Meadow Grass." It is flood irrigated and creates quite a jungle. The grass grows up to 7 ft tall, and can be very hard to cut and put up. In fact, the windrows are so big that we are unable to use a hay rake to flip it over to increase dry down time. Despite this, this piece of equipment worked flawless for us! It did not struggle with our tall, wet, heavy, grass one bit and made quick work of the field.
