The Magic Keyboard Folio is actually similar to Logitech's Combo Touch. I'm using the Logitech as it's more versatile for my iPad Pro plus side protection, and I can detach the keyboard for reading and sketching. The Magic Keyboard is basically just a keyboard, and the iPad has to be removed to use in portrait orientation.

I hated the Logitech combo touch it was heavy and drained battery fast

I never thought about editing my videos with my iPad Pro but this looks like such a great app I just might have to give it a go! Thanks Justine 😊

It’s not fun.. it’s more of a backup. Like you’re mobile or on a plane and got time to burn.. it’s fantastic. As a daily driver though.. you’ll want a Mac.

LumaFusion is a great app, and very powerful. i still prefer using Resolve on my laptop, so I’m really looking forward to it being launched on the iPad. I love editing photos in Lightroom on the iPad.

Justine, you've came so far! Every video I feel like you've started expressing more your opinion on Apple instead of just saying good things about every product. Love that you see how expensive their accessories are and how meaningless it is for them to give us small upgrades in their devices. Apple should release new products every 2 years with bigger updates.

The reason the Apple Pencil gen 2 isn’t supported with the new regular iPad is because the landscape camera and Apple Pencil charger take up the same space, so it’s one or another. Even though a landscape camera would be great on iPad Pro, Apple would have to sacrifice Apple Pencil gen 2 support.

I have the Ipad pro from 2020 with the A12. I would love to upgrade but realistically the software is pretty much the same and the A12 is still hella fast. Maybe next year there will be major updates worth updating to.

I’m getting a used but still pretty new iPad Pro 11” M2 cellular (unlocked) for $700! I’m pretty excited about it! Hopefully it’s a good deal? I will be upgrading from my 2017 generation 5 iPad.

Currently, i’m using a ipad air 4. It is very good but I just found out that the air 4 doesn’t have enough storage and the pro fits just all my needs to edit vids, take photos and etc. I’m definitely upgrading.

iPad is probably my only device I don’t upgrade every year. That’s why I’m so excited to get the M2 tomorrow if it’s in stock lol. I’m upgrading from the 2018 iPad Pro

I think Apple should get rid of the full screen Notification Centre on iPad and implement a smaller version which doesn’t obstruct the whole content behind the notifications, similar to the Siri interface, but instead like on macOS but on the left maybe.

I Disagree iam disspointed on the features they added so lame i think they should’ve never released this until they come up with something new

3:40, pencil hits screen and doesnt register, moments later, 'all this works so seamlessly' lol

I love LumaFusion. I’ve tried many video editing apps on the iPad and this is by far the best! I don’t regret purchasing it. I’m still skeptical about the photo editing apps , I would like to purchase Affinity Photo but idk yet 🤔

I love it but keep wondering when they are going to release the multi-cam edit feature they announced, a very long time ago!

I’m stoked about getting the M2, upgrading from the air 4. I’m actually interested in seeing if the hover feature helps enough with Scribble that I can go sans Keyboard for my workflows (short 1-2 sentence responses)

@@Nooumy I bought the air 4 a week before the M1 came out. Don’t regret a thing! But the finger print sensor broke after a few months, so never getting an iPad Air again or an iPad with the horrible fingerprint sensor. Looking forward to getting the iPad Pro m2!

Excellent video Justine! So I think one disappointing thing: the Windows tablets (competitor) uses Windows 11, a desktop class OS; iPads use iPadOS, not MacOS. If Apple can one day support MacOS, a true desktop class OS on an iPad that would be amazing.

Im currently rocking an iPad 8th gen, I use it to do homework, write essays, watching content, play games like gta with a controller, digital bullet journal with my day to day things to do, a little bit of pro create, sometimes it does get s little slow should I upgrade to maybe an iPad pro or an air 5? Does the upgrade seem good or with an m1 iPad pro should get the job done?

Love how detailed and informative this review is. I'm definitely going to get a new iPad, but before I do I'm going to watch this review again.

I got mine today. Folks unless your upgrading from a few years back don’t both. It’s powerful yes but so are the others. Get an older cheaper one. You will save money and not loose anything you get on the newer one.

I think Face ID really makes sense in an iPad, but of course it would be nice for it to have both. And the iPhone should have both too

I got super into drawing this year.....nothing to do with custom drawn nft's of course!

I’m waiting for the ability to transfer media from mini sd cards on drones and 360 cameras to ssd external drives for use on the iPad for video editing. At the moment, it is too difficult. Insta360 Studio still only edits in vertical mode which is totally annoying. The iPad is powerful enough to do video editing especially for travel but using external sources is still too complicated. This will keep me using my heavier MacBook.

I have the iPad Pro 5th Gen and its great device, use it all the time

I already own the m2 mba ,, but i’m still not sure about going with the m2 ipad pro to complete my ecosystem

my ipad pro is from 2017 lol .. but i barely use it; i upgraded my iphone, watch and even airpods but as dope as the new ipad is, I probably won't upgrade. I'm waiting for the Mac Mini M2 and i'm definitely copping that.

The large size of this M2 iPad Pro is great for drawing illustrations and graphics, especially useful for school or work as well. The images and videos appearing on the screen are phenomenal. The new hover feature of the Apple Pencil is great for pencil users!

If you have a 3rd or 4th Gen iPad Pro, you may be able to make a case for this one. But if you have an M1, especially the 12.9 model with XDR display, this is no upgrade. I’ll keep my M1 12.9 til the the M3 comes out. And it’s inexcusable for Apple to at the very least not provide the cable and adapter for the now 7 year old Apple Pencil 1…really pathetic they didn’t do that.

I was able to stream Apex Legends Mobile and Call of Duty Mobile _simultaneously_ over 5G on my 8gb M1 2021 iPad Pro through stage manager! I kid you not! You have to try this! Great Stuff, as always! Ever since iPad OS 16, so much more power has been unlocked!

I have a logitech combo touch case for iPad 9 which has a similar setup to the iPad 10 magic folio keyboard, and I hate that the keyboard is detachable! It’s so annoying trying to keep up with it when trying to use it in tablet mode over laptop mode. At least with the magic folio, you can attach the keyboard backwards and fold the keyboard down backwards. I can’t wait to upgrade to an iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard. The floating design has always been captivating and I want to use Davinci Resolve on iOS! 🔥

Just got one and just doesn’t do it. Photoshop and premiere pro are too dumbed down so I’m about to return it.

how did you get the battery widget to show your other apple devices?

why won’t apple just use center stage when your on a zoom call so you can be centered in videos? the problem would be solved then.

I've only owned one iPad, and it was an iPad 3. Yeah, a long time ago. But now I'm interested in getting one. But unfortunately, all I hear about is how the iPad Pro doesn't have this or that, and the iPad 10th Generation doesn't have this or that. It seems like it's a really bad time to be thinking about getting an iPad, because both of Apple's current new offerings are fundamentally flawed in some way. I'm almost being scared off enough to consider waiting another year before getting one. Maybe by then, they'll have moved the camera on the Pro to be in the right place for landscape orientation, and maybe they'll have the whole pencil thing sorted out on the regular iPad. Honestly, I feel like Steve Jobs must be rolling in his grave over the fact that Apple has come with so many different options in their iPad product that it leaves people like me more hesitant to commit to purchasing ANY of them. Note to Tim: Simplify, dude. It's the Apple way, and you seem to have forgotten.

@@ProdigyBowlersTour the iPad Air 4th or 5th gen is a middle ground between the pro and the 10th gen. M1 chip, no home button and it has usb-c plus support for gen 2 pencil. you can get them new for around 500$ from apple or around $400-$450 refurbished from apple. I have the blue air 5th gen and honestly it's more than enough. the only thing I wanted more was screen but I can make do lol.
