I disagree there are about 5% of Range Rover owners who shoot/hunt and they do actually put off-road tires on there cars and they take them off-road.

What percentage of high performance car owners take them on a track? Probably 5% - it’s not the point that they don’t do it, it’s the point that they can if they choose to do so exactly like Range Rover owners that don’t off road in them but can if they want to

It’s not a proper off-roader, not to mention it’s an ultra-luxury SUV which would normally be kept tidy, assuming the owner is rich and thus organized. If you really want to go off-roading, get yourself a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. It’s a proper off-roader from the factory.

That won’t be the only bit that falls off way too soon.
Every Range Rover we ever had has been used for towing large trailers and off roading, its what they are built for.
They really didn't have to test the capabilities when we have Carwow

Carwow's "tests" are for the children
Don't understand why new offroaders are focusing on speed. Offroad is often done under 5mph. I don't want stiff I want flex, and don't need power I want low range torque

No one disagrees with the vehicle’s capability. However, we’re far more interested in the repair cost post this short off-road demonstration.

My dream car
Yeah not many owners would do that with it but really that off-roading was not tough at all. There was no axle twisting articulating type climbs where you take a factory Jeep Rubicon watch that Land Rover shake and spin when the traction control can't make sense of what's going on with wheels in the air. Everything they always do it in a forest somewhat even surfaces and mud/ grass big deal LOL

Has no idea how to go in the water, gulping all that mud water into the engine bay like that would total any car. Wade depth is measured horizontically after slowly going into the water and settling. Stupid driver.

Look at the thumbnail of this video. It shows it coming out of the pond with the plate still attached. They must have taken the bolts out and filmed it again to make it blow off... for the drama.

That's an ultimate off road course? An unmodified freelander 1 with normal road wheels could have easily tackled that. Take it on some Welsh Greenlanes, where I've taken my Disco 4 and film that. That will give you much better example of what it can do. Assuming Land Rover would be happy with that.
While I definitely love the new gen Range Rover's design, my vote still goes for the Sport version.

This car should be used as such, at least for the warranty period in East Africa, which is 3 years or 100, 000 kms whichever comes first, you switched to off road tyres ... what size & brand are they..?

On the full episode they do some rock crawling and crack the front bumper. In the next clip the bumper is fine 🤔 maybe filmed in different order but probably a different car

Range Rovers nowadays break like plastic... they'd rather cut the feed where the number plate flew off than improve the design n make it robust!
God I wish they would get Harris some proper co-hosts so I can start watching Top Gear again. 😒
Lot of RRs have BMW engines and All have ZF gearboxes? Why the fuss about reliability? Other issues should be minor.
What ever happened to the other people that used to run the show?
