Although I love the Sisley cushion foundation, I’ve purchased the Cle de Peau cushion, too. Like you, I really like the Cle de Peau applicator because it’s just easy to use around the curved areas. Cle de Peau is much more luminous on me, which leads me to think it would not be a great choice for warmer weather. I found I needed to powder lightly in my T zone to prevent it from breaking down from face oil, especially around my nose. I don’t have that problem with the Sisley foundation in cooler weather, but certainly have to powder lightly in warmer months. I’m still a Sisley cushion fan. Love that it’s transfer resistant, is slightly luminous, works well over both my sunscreen or primer. It’s just a lovely product and it doesn’t hurt that I think that the Sisley shade is a better match for me. Thanks so much for the comparison between the two cushions - both far outperform the Chantecaille, in my opinion. Great review! Thanks so much.

I love how you get right to the point.💕 I love both cushion foundations on you. Your complexion is flawless! CdP’s color seems better - as you have already pointed out. But overall, they’re both lovely. I don’t wear foundation often enough to keep a cushion version. I’m trying to use up my Chantecaille one. It seems so dry - yet better for my sometimes oily skin. Thanks Tammy! I think both of these cushions are way better than the Chantecaille so if you ever decide to try one again, definitely take a look at these brands when you are making a decision. I know exactly what you mean about the Chantecaille feeling a bit dry sometimes and yet other times it seemed to work well for me.

I have to admit that I don't use cushions as much when my skin is oilier during the summer. I think. you would need to powder it.

i love the wavy hair !! as someone who grew up having oily skin, having a shiny face is just something i cannot bring myself to carry off, especially when i also have visible pores & live in a hot & humid country. powder has been my best friend for life ! on you, i felt that the sisley looked smoother but the shade was noticeably darker, with cdp being a way better match. i’m interested in the givenchy lip balms most of all - they look great !! i love their lip products; givenchy & dior are the best for lips as every different line they have is excellent with very wearable shades.

Hi Lexi! Great review of the foundation. I love cushion foundations and currently using up the Dior cushion which is really nice. I am hoping the Pat McGrath eye tints come back in stock in the only thing I want from the entire Love collection which are the ones you showed and they look beautiful on you. It’s the platinum bronze and twinkling bronze. ❤❤

Hi Lexi - I think I prefer the CDP colour cushion foundation to the Sisley - both give a lovely luminous finish though! The PM shadows are great and I love that Twilight Platinum so much and def as a liner for me - the shade is superb. The CT didn't seem to have much longevity so I probably wouldn't invest. Loved all your different eye looks - the lilac shade from the Mothership is gorgeous BTW!

If you rip the sponge off the CT blushes its a fine tip squeeze tube underneath....if that makes sense. I did that with the light wand. I hate the sponges too

I don't think it would be ideal. It's a bit too dewy imo and I'm not sure how well it would hold up. However, if you use something like the Danessa Myricks blurring balm underneath to absorb oil during the day, that might be a good option.

Hi Lexi! Great foundation wear-test and review! This CdP cushion foundation sure is giving SIsley a run for its money. I echo another subscriber’s comment in hoping the PMG liquid eyeshadows get restocked soon. I am somewhat interested in the CT blushes (I also prefer Pilllowtalk shade on you). Last but not least, those Givenchy lip shades are not only beautifully packaged but they all look great on your beautiful lips! (Can you indicate which one you are wearing at the point in your video where you are wearing a green top please? This is a shade that would work on me.)

Hi Lexi. How does the CDP and Sisley foundation compare to Complexion Touch, by Chanel? I have aging skin concerns, lines, and dry skin and need a bit of coverage. The complexion touch works well and has some moisture but always looking for a Holy Grail product.

It is hard for me to compare that as the complexion touch is not one I really use as a foundation. For me, the complexion touch has less coverage and I would say it is a bit less dewy than the CdP or Sisley. I hope this is helpful!

I figured you'd put CDP against your favorite cushion!😂 I'd love to purchase the CDP, but I'm nervous about sone of those ingredients my skin might react to. I thought both looked good on you and the same close up. From a distance the Sisley looked shiny. I guess it depends on your preference. I personally am a huge CDP foundation supporter though.

CdP actually makes my favorite foundations in general too but there is just something about the Sisley cushion... But I think the CdP is a better shade for me. Such a tough decision!

Both foundations are beautiful, but I like the coverage of the Sisley better. It seems like you could add a touch of a lighter foundation to perfect the shade on you. Also, have you ever tried using green color corrector under foundation to cancel redness? Just dab on in places that need it and blend. I think you would like the results! Your review and comparisons were great, so thanks!

That is hard to say. I can't say that I have a favorite foundation of all time but I have a few all-time faves and the Sisley would be included in those. The Sisley and the Cle de Peau cushions are my favorite cushions.

I love the new Cle de Peau foundation in the jar (but not the price) but the chemical sunscreen stings and burns so I'm hoping this will be as pretty but without the irritation. I am looking forward to trying this one. Thank you for a very thorough review.

Pretty blushes on you but, it does look like you got peach and not pink based on packaging color and blush color. I’ve seen a few other videos on this and pink is definitely very obviously pink. Perhaps they sent the wrong color.

Thank you! The actual tube definitely says pink pop so i don't think it is the wrong shade. Perhaps the other people you have seen it on have warmer undertones so it looks more pink.

I agree - I can always get a great shade match with them. Sisley is all over the place with their shades imo.
