How have you felt about it over the past two years?

It’s obvious you love the car and it means you are sensible, practical and non-racist. Considering the feel and reliability, IS make great sense for those who develop attachments to what you use and own. I love my wife’s 300.

I've had mine for a year now. Best car I've ever owned/driven. Great fuel economy, good performance and extremely comfortable. Also the boot is way bigger than you think it will be.

Awesome job! Your sway test in the 350 was between Normal & Sports+ mode and it was a significant difference. From your experience, can you comment on any differences you observed between Sports & Sports+? In the US, Sports+ requires dynamic handling package and I’m not convinced the AVS with Sports+ will make all that much of a difference...

aspotz Hey mate, Firstly thank you so much for watching 😄! Now I am actually a big fan of the AVS! I actually do find a difference between Normal/Sports and Sports +. I’m not going to say makes it that much stiffer but I’m a big fan of low cars and as little roll as possible and the AVS definitely helps. I actually find myself for daily driving putting the car in Customise mode and having the engine on normal but the suspension on sports so I can still drive the car without revving hard in traffic but getting less roll around corners. Again it’s a marginal difference and it really will be what do you prefer and how you drive the car. Let me know how you go!! If you want feel free to get follow me on my instagram @serg.ss 😀

Great video, I'm sad, that we don't have new IS in the UK anymore. About Your acceleration test IS300 and IS 300h. In fact, both of them get to 60 in about same time, at least according to outside view. The truth is, IS300h 0-60 time is about 7.5 sec in real time. The filling is different, thanks to eCVT gearbox. IS 350 is a beast. Isn't it?

Just FYI, since I see a lot of reviewers not getting what the manual "gears" are for and they say they're useless. They are not. It is indespensible in the mountains during descends, when you really want to save your breaks from overheating. Pointless for acceletration, that I agree with - people tend to think the car will accelerate better if they handle the gear switching, which is not the case at all.

Hey mate! Firstly thank you so much for watching :) And unfortunately not, all Lexus hybrids are CVT gearboxes. Some of them are the direct shift CVT which actually is a lot better than expected!

If you are used to driving economically is300h is the smoothest and the most addictive one. It also has enough pull to be practical.

Hey mate! Firstly thank you so much for watching 😄 Now depends which model you are looking at like our Base models come with so much more standard equipment it’s amazing! But your base price is a lot lower. I know like on the F-Sport we have tri led headlights, led turn signals and so much more. Our Luxury mode has a bigger screen as standard and heaps more stuff too. There’s heaps of good reviewers, I would recommend Doug Demuro but he’s rather biased against Lexus but plenty of others 😂 Thanks again for watching and hope to see you on the next one 😄!!

Just bought this car sold my porche 1990 Correa five speed four wheel drive convertible wonderful car but a horror in traffic to a collector 200100 miles wanted fun reliability will drive my Lexus coupe into my 90s when my children take it away

Haha yep Errol! To be fair our base price is a lot higher dollar for dollar. Even when (in America) you option it up with the bigger screen and other features and convert the dollar, the Aus price is a lot more..

Hey George! Welcome back 😄 How good is the exterior!! I’m loving the design the more I look at it and photos/videos don’t really show how good it looks! And yes the interior looks dated now especially in the Luxury. The F-Sport is okay because at least the dash is digital and seats look awesome as every F-Sport does but I know what you mean! Disagree. The interior is a timeless design and the closest thing to a budget version of the legendary LFA in terms of appearance. Clean horizontal lines and an attractive vertical centre stack in perfect proportions. Compare that to the ES which has weird diagonal and odd lines and looks old already.

@@SergCarReviews Good to finally see someone in Oz review this car. The mass media haven't even bothered yet. Driving a beautiful Lexus everyday on the Gold Coast is something I look forward to when I retire hopefully in a few years time. Much better than living and working in Sydney.

Those safety assists are extremely for the best, and dangerous for the worst. Especially for a driver knowing how to drive. This "all heil security" trend needs to stop. The most dangerous thing comes out the exhaust, and, ironically, putting more and more security features in the car will only make it worse.

I was just driving the ES today and was reversing into a spot and the emergency brake came on for no reason (yes an emergency reverse brake)! Anyways the safety systems are there to assist and not take over but some people could be relying on them a bit too much... Anyways hope to see you on the next video :)

TheKZreadr If you compare them to the Euros versions, it’s actually mikes nicer and doesn’t have that rubbery feel that the Mercedes have (or BMW). I much prefer the genuine leather or at least perforated Vegan leather! Thank you so much for watching by the way 😃!
