Great video. I'm being really selective on what Lego sets I'll buy, because of their pricing and a lack of space. Other than the Indiana Jones sets, the room of requirement and black lake set, I haven't seen much that I want. Have to see the new Star Wars diorama sets first to know if I'll want them. Great shirt too!

Anti hauls are always a pleasure to watch, so much more relatable than actual hauls.

This is a great idea for a video! Not only do I have to be extremely selective about what LEGO sets I buy, but I also wait for deals and sales before buying the ones I absolutely want. In a year or two, most sets (except, perhaps, for LEGO Store exclusives) will at some point be on sale.

The Rivendell set is a perfect set. You get all of the Fellowship in a very iconic scene. It's perfect in that if this is the only LotR set a person gets then they honor the entire series. Ok...maybe a future set with Gollum.

I'm on the same page with you. Most of this stuff i plan to buy at discount or 2xp which is 10% cash back. This year feels like a tidal wave with so many new cool sets i can't keep up.

I think the reason why LEGO made the Star-Lord helmet so expensive is because of they wanted to justify the metallic parts.

I think it's a good thing the only 2 I will buy from the sets mentioned here are Cody and Rex (they are the first 2 helmets I'm interested in). Plus they were more or less on my wanted list since the pictures were released (and I was hoping for something nice as soon as the rumours went around). Apart from that, maybe 1 or 2 Indiana sets but that depends on my mood/discounts etc and overall I'm happy that I'm far from the "I need to buy everything group"

I couldnt agree more about Leia's Boussh helmet. When I heard about it, I thought itd be an easy buy cause her Boussh outfit is sick. But it just...doesnt look that good. Love the anti-haul vids!

I plan on getting the all of the Disney sets except the brick heads and the Harry Potter sets when they get discounted.

I started buying all the helmets then one day I was like what’s the point here? I just sold them all to buy better sets with minifigures. After buying the bricklink observatory with 4000 pieces for £180, it really shows how much LEGO is ripping people off!!

Until now, I bought all HP sets BUT, this years selection is so poor compared to the price tag that I only ordered 2 merman from bricklink. I really like the new burrow, but I have the last one and I see no point in buying a second. I’m afraid this will be the end of Lego HP 😢

Personally I use eBay for most things since there’s a lot of eyes on the site, to avoid super high fees though, marketplace sites and Facebook are a great option too

Brick Heads remind me too much of Pop Vinyl collectables. No thanks to both. Like the look of the Boushh helmet. Colours at the front shouldn't be that grey colour though. But I'll probably get it eventually, and swap over the greys for a darker grey or even black pieces. And Ant Man 3 was good fun.

Anyone else notice the top stripe on her shirt is see through, so you can see the image of what's behind her. I'm guessing the stripe is supposed to be green and she's in front of a green screen. Funny. :)

$500 usd is $741 aud. But in the US case you need to add tax where applicable as the Australian price includes tax. With tax $550 usd is $815 aud, so the price in Australia is cheaper than most of the US

My anti-haul is still restricted to the entireties of Star Wars, Harry Potter, City, Creator 3 in 1, Technic & Avatar, but out of the new spring stuff, I definitely don't plan on buying Rivendell or the Disney Brickheadz. Out of the stuff I'm willing to buy, bring on the Guardians of the Galaxy wave, Wall.E & EVE brickheadz, BTS Dynamite & Indiana Jones comeback. That's as far as my knowledge of the upcoming sets goes.

There’s a lot in this wave that doesn’t look that great. Some of the new Harry Potter sets look decent though :)

Personally the only things that appeal to me this time around are the disney sets, not counting the brickheads. Finally getting characters like Baymax, Mulan, Pocahontas, etc is really exciting. I'm on the fence about the ant man set though. I actually really enjoyed the movie but this set doesn't quite do it for me

I think im the only person on this planet who doesn't like the Rivendell set. Oh, well, anyway, 500 bucks saved. But Speed Champions callout is spot-on. I'm no petrol head, zero interest in cars, dont even have place for them in my City - but since they moved to 8-studs wide form, they are gorgeous. One of the most interesting things in terms of building tehniques TLG currently does.

Helmets are proof people will eat up anything with a logo. The most pointless waste of plastic ever.

Personally, I feel Holly has turned into a "mean girl". Negative opinions are fine to have and share as a reviewer. I no longer feel she has a love or interest in this job/ hobby/ lifestyle. I get excited to hear her speak about Harry Potter sets vs the movies and books. This new direction of dumping on everything she doesn't like feels like being in school listening to "popular girls" explain to the whole class why meat and fur is bad and we all need to be vegans. I suppose its all for the money now.

Lego is expensive, and I personally don’t think it’s right to constantly promote and encourage people to spend all of their money which is something I often see. Most recently with Rivendell especially, which is a gorgeous set and one I would love, but has a $500 USD price tag. There are a lot of great products out there and some not so good ones, and for the price I want people to have an idea of what to expect but also to know that they shouldn’t feel pressured to buy things day 1. I appreciate your comment and the way you worded it, and given there was four Harry Potter sets I didn’t like back to back I can see why you may feel that way

The tongue-in-cheek videos about army building and the top 10 Harry potter figures (that were all the same Harry figure) are the light hearted fun this hobby needs. Too many other KZreadrs seem jaded and arrogant. I don't fully trust those reviews of people in the Lego Ambassador Network, and those that are not fans of the sorce material, so your opinions have more Authority. Again, thanks for all you do. That Rivendale set is cool, but too much for many. Lol
