Really wish my friends enjoyed RTS and I had a group to play with.

I will never get tired of doing a desperate last stand as the soviets against an overwhelming Nazi force, getting blasted to pieces by panzers while I desperately control my last anti tank gun before it gets overrun by hordes of infantry. Most fun I've had in this game in a long time

What I'm doing is LARPing as a soviet desperately fending off the fascist beast, if you're LARPing as Hitler in the Fueher bunker or Gormann hiding in the Austrian mountains it makes me concerned about your IRL politics. Are you type of person that makes the rest of us unable to talk about our interest in WW2 because there's always that one weird guy just a little bit too interested in one of the losing sides and their memorabilia.

@@eugenekrabs869 Its a fukin game, I hate the NS Germans but enjoy playing them in pretty much every game cus the aesthetics are vehicles are cool. Just as cool as the Soviet asthetic (also hate the soviets too).

National socialism is nazism, every normal person just says nazi. That leaves two types of people who use Natsoc today, scholars who study the rise of fascism and neo nazis. Which do you think is more likely from someone fantasizing about killing Commie hordes?

This mode is seriously refreshing and very well balanced, its engaging and get boring :D

this mode is so fun, nearly impossible, but fun and if u wanna do it solo against ai u can tweak the setting and how many ai players u r fighting which is nice, its pretty doable against 1-2 hard ai

You can build fortifications: choose engineer and under the flag on main base you can see the icon with sandbags. The mechanism the same with the second PVP regime, where you need protect the base. Sorry, my English knowledge is minimal.

This is Evacuation mode from Call to Arms, just looks like the cap is waaayyyyy bigger.

I'm still baffled that neither this or MoW had this kind of game mode lol. Guess they got inspired by all the last stand mods.

Or maybe they copied the extraction mode from normal call to arms and called it Last Stand :^

God I love this game, if only Men of War 2 and Rattenreich were made off the success of this. It's in my opinion the pinnacle of the Men of War series by far. The AI enhancements, the optimization, scale, complexity, features, third-person, even finally nailing aircraft a bit. This game needs to be the base standard for the franchise from now on.

Actually, to add to that, the campaign mode also needs to be a standard. Keeping individual troops and leveling up units while also being able to bring in so many and upgrade the tech is *mwah* chef's kiss. Regular scripted campaign missions will always be fun, but a sandbox campaign where we have to manage resources, tech, and squads which are persistent beyond through missions? Yes, yes, yes, and yes. I really hope the creators of this game go on to make more- or continue updating this game further. I'd *LOVE* if they could not only do the Pacific theatre *BUT ALSO* do the Japanese occupation of China. I know they already did Finland, which was awesome, but for just how big China was during WW2, we nearly never see it properly portrayed- just like Finland. I hope the devs are considering this.

The pve mode is good I have played it by myself and got rushed by tanks on the first wave

Always entertaining watching Sherm (& Davidson) play GOH but Last Stand mode (futility.. 😭) not for me ( I want to win.. 😚). Will say content of this game is rather amazing & hats off to Chase the GOH developer from Barbedwire Studios Sherm recently interviewed. Should be noted the game is currently on sale on Steam (20% off for complete Call to Arms pack). I was mostly interested in the Liberation DLC but because of the sale for the pack just picked up all three (look forward to putting some time into playing & applying lessons learned here 😉).

90% of SP missions in MOW/GOH are defend the base, probably because they're the easiest to make. We need more varied missions a la Sir Henkels for MOW

I was expecting mode like extraction point mode like original Call to Arms

conquest will always remain the best play mode off all time

Needs some tweaking, I much prefer slower methodical defence like in conquest. Zerg rush ain’t fun for me, no time to micro any units

Also, can you do this game mode with AI allies?

Yep you can, can choose difficulty on AI's both friendly and enemy as well as which country they are.

This is nothing. The ai sends you way more if you play against extreme ai, especially if you play coop vs 4 of them. Now that is a challenge. Its a slaughter but damn is it satisfying if you can pull it off with a bud.

I found it ridiculously unbalanced. First thing I got hit with was 300mm rocket artillery
