Kubota, You should be paying these guys for marketing. Good job guys probably one of the best most informative walk-around videos out there for this model. I’m picking mine on Saturday.

Just purchased the Z421 for an 8 acre farm. First impression is the cut at 2.5” to 3” is fantastic. Nice level cut with no stragglers and the Kawasaki engine is very strong and not to loud (I cut without noise protection without any discomfort). The mower has a high travel speed when needed, but I try to take it easy when cutting. Zero-turn mowers have a rigid frame and our pastures are rough terrain in areas and can jar the hell out of you. If this is a concern for you, you may consider a larger mower with an air-ride seat. Overall this mower is a winner in the 6-7K price range and I am very pleased with it’s appointments and performance.

Not dropping any names but I'm glad some makes are starting to put dedicated tie down points on their commercial machines to make life easier trailering from job to job.

I've had my Z421 for about 10 days now, and mowed with it twice. Has the 54" deck, and mulching kit. Overall, a great machine. Two things I don't like, it seems to be a gas hog, and the sight gauge for the fuel tank is hard to see the fuel level.

Ive owned multiple KAWASAKI engines.Put hundreds,if not thousands of hours on them. They don't die.if maintained properly they will last years.KAWASAKI and the sBRIGGS AND STRATTON VANGUARD ENGINES built in japan, and yes, some vanguards were built in japan, were absolutely, some of the smoothest engines ive ever run.So if you own a vanguard, check the build location, they are expensive and high quality. These motors are quality.

Question- the bar underneath the mower, does that serve any other purpose rather than protection of the drive? I had a mower before that when that bar broke ( which it does a lot) the two rear wheels would cave in, would like to steer away from that again!

I am buying a z421 this week, I have 4.5 acres of land. But I cant make up my mind to go 54 or 60 inch. I'm not really worried about how long it takes to cut. I'm worried if the 60 inch will have enough power to cut very thick grass. But I like the 60 inch due to tire and overall Width. Will either one ride the same? On a little bit ruff ground? I need you opinion.

power difference from 54/60 is 10%. unlikely you would ever notice. I'll always take the bigger deck for easier trimming

Kawasaki engines and same tires on all of them. Its the seat that makes the difference.

Hello, I watch almost all of your videos even about products I don’t want. Thanks for putting out great content. I have 5 acres of lumpy weedy mole hill ridden lawn. Thankfully we have very sandy soil so the mole hills are virtually rock free. With my current old JD rider I just use the deck to flatten out the mole hills and mow right over them. Any advice for those of us with “pasture” lawn?

Denim Dude I have that mower in I love it very stable on hills an it has the best cut outta any mower iv ever ran .. it dose like fule but it has the big block kaw on it fx801v. That is a very strong running motor. I can't say enough good things about the hole mower.

Denim Dude The Z726XKW also uses 14cc Parker Hydros. You'll usually find those on mowers costing 10k+. Worth getting the suspension seat & the seat itself is very comfortable w/adjustable armrests. I do not know if they offer radial tires or Tweels, but that would be better than bias-ply. It's a very heavy duty lawn machine.

@@MessicksEquip I mean more with the length of use as in 5-6 hrs straight using catcher attachment, just had a few Toro fenatics saying it was a bad purchase for entry commercial and its more for someone with a large estate mowing once a fortnight, just a bit worried it won't stand up to mowing every day

Every manufacturer has grades of mowers. What you bought is in the home owner series. If you just getting started its a great quality mower for the price. As your business grows you will find yourself wanting something larger and faster and also more able to justify it financially.
