Ngl that Mettle 3 is actually a pretty impressive knife for a collector, but it seriously strikes out for me in the EDC department solely for the fact that there is no other option to open it besides the button lock. A flipper or doing something like the thumbstud on the CRKT CEO that hides away into the frame when closed would have been legit here

It is a strange design, the blade reminds me of a Kiridashi type of blade. People are saying it looks like gas station knife since it has Phillips head screws, but the screws are finished well and the knife has a quality feel to it. I would have preferred T8's myself. The blade will not open unless the button is pushed, so it is locked in place while closed. Carrying it closed in a hammer fist it could serve as an impact weapon also.

Love the color scheme and the looks of the materials of the Metal just don't like the lines and shape. But would make a good fishing knife. Could filet a fish in a pinch.

I like the coin on the Rubato 3 but that’s about the extent of my interest in this knife. Just not sure about it. SAME HERE, brother. Really miss the old style sales - BUT my bank account hasn't bottomed out since those went away! On that METTLE 3, all they should have done is a slight reshape of the end to relocate those clip screws to exactly perpendicular to the longitudinal line of the clip! That would make it completely even AND ambidextrous.
