1/24 scale perfection 🥰

Once again, FMS gives me exactly what I wanted! These are just awesome!

I’ve owned all of those in 1:1 and loved following Camel Trophy as a kid. I thought I was done buying new RCs for a bit, but I must have at least one of these!

They need to start making more Toyota and Nissan body’s for these 👍🏻

I suppose at least the Discovery is a little bit different but another Defender? There are so many Defender bodies out there already, it is surely time to see something new for a change.

I agree. I don’t mind companies making them but how about ram truck, or another pickup of some kind. I understand that’s what most people off road with in real trucks but… let’s do something different. Great job Greg! Thanks for the video!

I agree. They do look cool, but it’s like when someone releases a new Jeep RC, it’s been done already. They make stuff that’s popular , because it sells but why not try something a bit different once in awhile

@@makestuffbetter19 a hard body 2000s ram truck or silverado would be so awesome. I don't really like the lexan bodies, they're alright for bashing but otherwise they look off

As a huge land rover discovery fan, I'll definitely be picking one of those with the D1 body for sure.

Looks great. Should be a fun one to run in my basement or at RC Madness this winter. A little 3D printing and that bottom skid will be nice and flush...

Wow! Another cool release from FMS! New platform and new bodies! And 2 bodies you don't see as much as others, the Discovery and the Range Rover, nice! (I love Defenders, but they get repetitive... 😅) I wander if they'll be releasing lexan bodies for this platform and how would they perform crawling. May be good contenders for the 24th scale.

Wouldve been a pre order sell for me if they were 1/18, really nice detailed bodies tho! How is the transmission sound? Seemed a little on the loud/screechy side in the video.

Good FMS went straight axle design, more scale look compared to portals.

i thought you gonna make a size comparison with trx4m

@@rcdriver thank you! so my first RC was the Traxxas TRX4M, and i have changed everything. Will this be the same where i can but upgrades. is there a second hand market for this chassis yet?

How water resistant are they ? Seems like being Camel trucks they would have to be somewhat water resistant.

Hey there.... U should check out the austar ax-8561 rock sheep buggy.....new release on aliexpress. Some ax8560 and trx4m parts fit. Brass C hubs and steering knuckles/6mm brass wheel spacers and with small trim rear brass axel weights fit too. Its as good as austar (part of injora) 8560 jeep 1/18th crawler. Also called cc8801 same but in 4 colours. Awesome 1/18th crawler with good atributes plus great prices. Plus for trx4m n 8560 check out injoras new jeep cherokee body. Availible in 5 colours......fit straight on both. Love the camel discovery alot...❤❤❤❤

The shock has an o-ring at the bottom and a top seal in the cap. The shock shaft doesn’t have a piston. Basically it’s a screw-head at the top of the shock shaft. So technically, you can add a drop or two of heavy oil in the body and it will add some damping resistance. Tip to get the oil in. Push the shock shaft all the way up, put a drop of oil on top and pull the shock shaft down to pull the oil into the body.

Very nice I just don't think these 2 speeds are needed on stuff like this and it adds to the cost. At least there seems to be a better offset between the 2 speed than you normally get

I see where you are coming from. But I do like the two speeds, I don’t take my scx stuff out much because traveling more than 6 feet is a pain. Me personally, I like having a “traveling” speed included.

chassis same as a scx 24 not traxass and they r a lote closer to scale then say fms,s chevy,s

It seems the Range Rover has bigger tires then the discovery… discovery is my fav tho

Do you think he would actually crawl and show us how low of speed you can move with it? Considering it’s a crawler.

It’s a trail truck. Some footage was under 1/4 throttle and low gear. Sorry we were fun with them.

1mph and 4mph the scx is 2mph has little better low speed control

You really can’t ask for more - scale intricate RC for around 100 bucks old timers like us never had anything as cool RC without costing as much as the real thing 😂

Agreed that seeing the slow-speed control would have been good, but this video was more about fun with the kids. Us old guys take the fun out of everything;)

The chassis are really cool, but the look is too cartoonish. 24" wheels on a Rover makes it look like a Walmart toy.

none of them are 1/24 the discovery is 1/18

Defender is fugly. Looks like a cheap kids toy from the fair. Disco is much better. RR ßhould have been with the disco here.

The look is ruined - as usual - by that silly wheel size. Too bad…
