Im thinking it out right now! double painkeeper. brings unblockable block buffs. brings reflect damage nad a taunt. brings hex. i could make my emic trunda team a harder difficulty for the clash points and use this team for easy.

Usually they make spenders pay first and patience plays afterwards, but it's always about the spenders. Fusions dont interest them money wise, they do it for the fun(not so much nowadays) and f2players. If spenders see any champ true cheese potential straight away of course they would more likely do the fusion instead of spending on shards later when he shows up in higher chance events.

the potential is insane for early game as they said, this champ will help early gamers, and end gamers can try pvp or hydra with him bro puts a taunt on himself, and when he's attacked the hounds all counterattack, his waveclear is insane

I can't roll my eyes hard enough at the tactics of "there's no good hounds to pair with him now, but we MIGHT release one later". Plarium would sell their mothers into slavery for a few bucks.

Sidenote. SInce the fusion starts on the 4 and the clan wars are coming on the 10, plarium has timed it so that the helper bricks halfway through the fusion and i trust Plarium enough for this to be fully intentional. Also a second PR CvC just before the fusion.

I might go for this fusion with the hope that the next login champ will be the dog. If it's a pay wall dog (120 voids, etc...) I'll be a little peeved.

I am fairly end game and still use fellhound as my campaign farmer. Considering you don't need multiple hounds but only one for all of the additional abilities on Shy'eks skills I will just go for the fragment collection. Especially when we get a great new hound alongside him his kit seems really good already with turnmeter boost and aoe place block buffs (cannot weak hit) plus no cooldown hex on hit passive is really great for hydra (no matter whether it can be resisted or not - but even better if not). Worst case he is worth 500 Champion Chase points or 30k CvC Points.

my bet is that there's gonna be an insane dog as a guaranteed after the fusion

No they said he's on the lookout for hounds to add to his pack. 1 epic inbound , 1 void leggo. Any new champ will need pack leader explicitly called out in their skill text or they won't synergize. Rtfc dude.

Definitely going for him. After skipping the last fusion, I am to the brim in resources. And even though his kit is not Earth shaking, it is pretty cool and unique. With the current state of dogs, he's just a fun champ. Maybe not breaking into any of my teams but fun to play with. If they release some awesome dog, then who knows. Maybe he becomes a meta hydra champ. Definitely worth going for. I think he's pretty cool. Can't wait to play around with him.

This game needs more champs like him just for the sake of fun.

When they first announced ultimate Deathknight. I thought he would have some type of ability that synergizes with other Skeleton champs. Sadly that didn't happen, but you have reignited my hope for this.

They can do some crazy champs if they want. Imagine a Lego champ that synergies with common champs. Lego boosts all stats by 150% 😂. A champ that debuffs confusion so the champ must a1 anyone randomly including teammates.

Think about it. It's like having full team ally attacks every single active & boss turn. This is gonna blow up hydra numbers!

Yea the only Mildly good one is fellhound, but his aoe a1 isn’t crazy compared to other big hydra damage dealers

2 turn taunt, 3 turn cooldown. He is one of one with that A2 “you’re not so fussed about”

lol @the hint of future hounds being added and the winky face. This guy could end up being a Bambus type fusion where he looks interesting but isn't that great in practice - but I'll get him anyway, he's very unique.

Bambus is in one of my arena teams that uses bombs and he’s pretty decent for Hydra.

Packmaster, one of the hounds, and a Pain Keeper makes 1/2 of a Hydra taunt loop team. You don’t have to use protection pieces to keep the taunt buff since it can’t be stolen.

I briefly considered for Sintranos, but none of the dogs would be eligible with him due to faction and type.

Me personally wouldn't go for this champ (because I'd have to build other champs just to get a use out of him and them), but I am genuinely intrigued to see the content that will be created based on this champion in the future.

Pretty interesting champ, might wanna go in for this one.. defo a fire knight beast already for sure

Depending on damage output, could be fun for DT and Dungeon fast wave clear.

One thing I know about these dogs is that they are good for speed running things, since they have the fastest animation. This champion vibes "Speed Runner 9000"

I have a 6 star blessing for hound spawn and I haven't known what to do with it. This is my reason to build him now lol

looks like a fun champ tho, putting a fellhound in a stunset for wave content or a curse set for hydra together with him sounds cool

I've been advocating for synergy kits just like this for a couple of years now where Legendaries gain benefits from lower rarity teammates. I hope this synergy concept gets used more often in future champs.

His taunt ability is on a 3 turn cooldown which could enable interesting combos since most of them are on a 4 turn

Hades Fellhound is going to get incredible value when those awakenings that turn blues into purples comes out

Felhound with nourish, stichted beast has turn meter manipulation. Those with the hellfang freeze wombo will be fun for wave content, every dungeon spiked to lvl 20 easy! Early raid normal team as well i bet. Im currently playing with a taunt extension team for hydra

It's really interesting. I've been skipping the last several but this is one that would just be really fun to mess around with. I'm thinking there would be some interesting comps for hydra. He's not overwhelming, he's just pretty decently thought out and different. We need more of this imo. I still have my 1st fellhound at lv 50 from 3 years ago

I love the idea of his kit. And for me he is a must get just for the furture potential of other new hounds

I'll probably go for him just based on the idea of a new mechanic in the game that might be buffed or expanded on. I would like to imagine that if there is a concept of "paired" champs like the last fusion and then this one where they have effects on champions that aren't exactly a "couple" it makes it very fomo if they release a dog champ that does something to buff or have some effect on this champ.

The fusion kind of sounds like a beefed up Var-Gall as far as synergy with its underlings. Could be interesting for Hard Spider.

The small decrease speed could be made into the BIG decrease speed with one of the new awakenings and you would technically have a perpetual speed down on hydra which is NOT a joke.

I can see the potential combo of this Fusion + Felhound with a Hex Set. Could be Very interesting.

Current kit is interesting but not enough for me. The thought of a future hound-themed Leggo to be teamed up with him though...why do I keep thinking of Sandor Clegane lol

Oh man that passive looks like a hydra beast. Cool fusion don’t think I’ll go for him tho seems a little dependent on other champs. But we’ll see if cb is nice to me and gives me a couple more sacred I could be in for this one

I think he looks pretty good and worth going for! The Hex alone for Hydra makes him going worth for IMO but his A3 is also a good ability for Hydra. For PVP I bet you could do some cheeky things with him... off the top of my head something like Sniktrak and a hound would give you a protected taunt, reflect damage and bonus reflect damage passive. Throw Fellhound in a stun set and you have constant AOE stun counterattacks. Won't be top tier strategy but fun nevertheless!

There will most likely be a crazy hydra team that can be built using this guy and some hounds in the future.

Early / midgame fell hounds with provoke/hex would be fun in hydra with pack leader, plus the new blessing for a chance of big reduce speed

I kinda like the idea of making him better with time when more hounds come around. Maybe next void guarantee or next login?

Hey Hellhades I think it can be really helpful for Fire Knight. With Stitched beast, Terror beast and with any other damage dealers like Gnut

The lego dog will be a hero path/deck of fate etc. that will happen when the fusion start like kaja was.

Terrorbeast does have a 2 turn stun on a single target. Very overlooked stunner

The Ogryn leggo pairs well with Akentum to damage everyone with poison as HP burn

Considering paylarium always has a money plan in place. I'm sure either before or mid fusion a limited time event will take place to "earn" and awesome hound for this guy.

I am already looking at passing this one. Looks like something I wouldn’t mind getting from a shard pull but not worth the localization of a hound team that doesn’t currently have a good mix for end game content. Was hopefully for something specialized in the new clan wars set up. Like a general etc that is specific for it.

I like Terrorbeast it has the chance to increase cool down on an enemy skill by one on its A1 and the three turn reflect damage with a three turn cool down on the A2

So keep this in mind the fact that his abilities don't mention the new dogs means they are planning on changing the champs ability mid fusion

Can his ally attack + counter attack be useful for Fire Knight hard? The required champs are probably too weak to survive.

I'll go for him just to have him just for the uniqueness. If they said they wouldn't add things I probably would not. Even if he isn't useful now don't mind stashing for later if he isn't. Skipped last fusion tho, so makes the decision easier.

He seems like a fire knight killer. Buffs not being able to be stolen by hydra heads is good too.

Could be very interesting if his A2 can be used to perma taunt hydra along with an irresistable block buffs and a few hounds counter attacking like crazy. Especially the introduce a new hound or two that would fit nice in hydra

They obviously have an OP dog waiting to be released but my expectation is that it will be done like the Faction champs, only available at set times through the 10x mechanic. i.e. spend money to get it

I need him for the turn meter fill and block buffs skill, plus the passive is cool. Don't have a taunt champ either. I think he will be good for early/mid game players

I also go after fusion, and fragment champs because i look at as a challenge but if i dont get it o well no problem.

I'm tempted to go for him. Sounds like you only need one dog minimum to have use, but overall he sounds like a dang good Mischief tank, plus taunting the other heads to land hex to boost damage? Also getting a two turn hex with that one mastery, I'm intrigued.

The potential synergy is where it's at. Think about it...Fellhound on the same team will essentially give his A1 a chance to drop an AoE decrease speed (Nature's Bounty) + the damage. Does a counterattack potentially trigger 2x ally attacks with that passive? (doubtful). That 20% damage boost might make this interesting. A Fellhound in a Provoke set might be even more interesting. Same with a 9 piece Slayer set. Shoot, you could stack them with def/hp/crit damage. Speed isn't really needed on the hounds. I'm all in on this champ. He may not be the best, but it certainly seems like the most fun to be had in a long time. I started saving Fellhounds in the event rare empowerment drops. Now I need that to happen more than ever!

Looks like a fun gimmick champion nothing more.

With the freeze dog, he could be good in FK hard too. Might go for him, though I'd like to see what this fusion requires first. Main reason I'm kind of meh atm is I haven't levelled any of the dogs, and I'm not sure it'd be worth it just for him.

Got my 1 prism shard pull from the ice golem tournament and got super lucky to pull a firrol. I couldn't believe it

For hydra pair him with hound that has decrease speed on the A1 turn off the a2 and the hound other abilities now you got hex decrease and block both for hydra and a hard hitting ally attack champ

Ok but what happens if you have Fellhound, Houndmaster, and an ally attacker on the team. Does an ally attacker cause the Fellhound to attack 2x?

why leave out frenzi , Weregren ,and Brackus on the ally attack if he he is a packmaster ?

Taunt on him, hex/reflect dmg + his HP and with taunt you have to attack the master and after that all hounds go for you. Its very interesting, might be a Bomb, might be a bust, depending on how good gear you have to put on those hounds.

I predict a month of insane Sacred/void shard based summoning events during the fusion, then they will release a bonkers new lego dog and do a guaranteed sacred/void event for it.

Also I’m thinking it’s gonna be along the lines of narses and white queen ones a fusion and the other is a void guaranteed. So unless you are packing a couple hundred voids idk about this fusion

Might also release a void Lego amazing hound alongside him so people do the fusion “just in case”.

we get drunk other days, the 4th is just when we throw low grade explosives into the mix also, am i crazy to think this guy plus fellhound could be decent for hydra? got a 6 star fellhound so im thinking about swapping him to that blessing that upgrades debuffs and putting him in a provoke set. then he covers decrease speed and provoke in addition to what the beast master brings im betting the hinted hound is gonna be something hard to obtain, so either a mythical or a faction unity champ ill definitely be going for him. maybe not the strongest with the current assortment but does have the potential to enable some fun comps

So, I'm no expert -but I think you might be underselling this slightly even with the current champs. We assume for a second their capping the silliness of certain attacks in Hydra, you can still use Wixwell to make a team with unending shields, and someone on the upper end with say Mikage and Lydia you have Wixwell doing his thing, Mikage to buff extend and ally attack with an increase attack and crit damage, Lydia for weaken and decrease DEF (so you don't care about this guys ACC as much other than maybe his passive) as well as increase speed and strengthen, as well as attacks when the one head tosses out fear, with an option for block buffs and poison sensitivity on the heads it works on, another buff extender, this guy - who because of his selfish nature can become your mischief tank so build him in RES, throw in a Fellhound so that his buffs can't be stolen by a fluke and he can block buffs with no ACC that brings in a 15% damage reflect for the whole team (besides this guy who has his 30), decrease speed, a AoE heal (maybe help pad the shield growth rate) and if you don't turn it off and set it up to likely default to this guy a block damage for a turn - and if the Hex's land Fell hound will be constantly doing it's AoE while also doing it every time this guy does his A1. I think even without whatever new champs might be in the pipeline - there may be potential for some silly teams that do serious work.

Man this hero is BROKEN !!! Him, Hellfang and Hound Spawn vs Hydra. Shield that cant be stolen or removed, TAUNT that cant be stolen or removed, so you dont need resistance, Block buffs that cant be resisted you dont need acc. Guess you need acc for Hex, and than unleash the dogs with AOE A1 to smack. Taunt is 2 turn on 3 turn CD so you need some CD refresh but can be fun to build a team around him.

Skull Lord Var Gall had a similarly themed kit

Think it would be possible that the fusion method would be 16x of any of the farmable doggos? Similar to the Var-Gall fusion years ago.

if there are like 5 fellhounds in a team with one of him. will they all counter attack per attack or only one of them will attack? because if they all counter attack, that taunt buff on a tanky champ is pretty OP.

I will probably go for this guy because with just some form of cooldown reduction in the team and one hound he could make for a taunt loop champion like emic also I hope plarium is smart and brings in an epic hound champ and another rare hound champ for this fusion and make it old school but bring the existing hounds as part of the fusion so this guy can be fused from the pack he can now command

I think it’s a bit unfair them baiting us like this, if I go for it, the new dog will be awful, if i don’t go for it the new dog will be a log in void legendary and the next meta

I'm thinking pairing him with two or three Fellhounds equipped with Stun sets will cheese a lot of content. And yeah, I'm betting that there will be at least one new Epic or Legendary beast being released in the same patch. I think I will go for him.

The experimenter in me is curious about this one. Im thinking he may be good in the arena with fellhounds aoe attack and the attack he has with hellfang.

I'll go for him. I'm just picturing a team with him and three maxed out Fellhounds. As hard as FH hits, can you imagine three of him hitting the enemy every time this guy does, plus their own turns, plus their counterattacks? The enemy team will never get an attack. Plus they all have reflect damage. Could be solid against the fire night, especially with his decrease speed debuff.
