Thank you for featuring this family EV. I am genuinely surprised by how little wind noise there is at 200 kmh despite the EV9 having the aerodynamics of a brick house!

Yeah, it’s truly astonishing and gives a real premium feeling👌
kia always go far far to future but like i see best sound and no noise very good quality bravo kia family best
Great looking car and seems like great product too, based on your short review :)
Great video and well done pointing out the quality and driving comforts of the vehicle. I was also very surprised and do not consider it particularly less quiet, comfy or solid/robust feeling than the german counterparts. To me it feels more solid than the EQE SUV which might LOOK more luxurious but with a thinner and more plasticy feel to most of the panels and details.

go max speed 280km @Automann-TV 👍
After this test, I am even more curious about ev9. I've had the ev6 awd for almost a year, and I am fully satisfied. I will be testing the same configuration as shown in this video. I am planning to compare it side by side with my father's BMW IX 50.

@Automann-TV how does it compare to Ix 50 driving wise in your opinion?
Great testdrive!!! How does the seating height feel compared to a x5, xc90 or q7 and all those bigger suvs?

At least on pair with those, if not even a bit higher, very comfortable seating position👌
0:37 - G-Class size wise? sorry what? the G-Class is only 4,60m long without the spare wheel, while the EV6 is 5m long, that's a big difference😂 other than that, great video!
Nice car ❤.
I will consider purchasing the product when its value depreciates significantly, but I anticipate that a substantial investment in battery replacement may be necessary at that time.

The batteries are lasting longer than all manufacturers have anticipated, so you might be able to buy this at half of the price wirb battery still doing around 90% of its original capacity.

Indeed, it is comparable to purchasing a pre-owned smartphone, as batteries do deteriorate over time.
So eine lahme Krücke 😂
and that's 200 ...look Ma, no hands!!! LOL.
This car is the best proof why banning combustion engines is stupid

Love that V8 sound 🔥🔥
Steering wheels should be round.
Judging by the battery gauge, you'd run out of battery power in about 2 minutes at speed.

It took 18 sec to get from 90% to 89%. Multiply 18 sec by 100% and you get 30 minutes of high speed driving. Pathetic result
Looks a Polestar 😂😊
Stupid heavy SUV's, the world is better off. Stupid waste of materials

What is a car idiot. Do you know the EQS weight?
Nexit full électric and put an V6 hybrid.... it will be a lot more classy😅
6000 lbs lmao no thanks
75k, 2.7 tonnes, pointlessly heavy and inefficient. Exciting stuff :/

The X7 or the GLS aren’t substantially lighter either in the same size.

@@sebajfobi The X7 xDrive40i with 381hp weighs in 2.490kg. And it's 17 cm longer, 2 cm wider and 5 cm higher. Still heavy, I know.

Heavy and expensive, yes, but credit where it's due; considering its the shape of a brick, it's very efficient.

@@latlakyes, but the EV9 is within 5%, and has more interior volume according to the tests. So as a famaily hauler it’s not that different. People tend to bash electric cars for their weight but often forget how heavy ICE cars gotten.
As "fast" as a 200hp Polo. For almost 400hp the performance is extremely underwhelming
Which idiot idea was to make a 6000lbs electric car and then market it as environment friendly???

Not to defend the car (I generally agree), but if you think about it a car like this makes a lot of sense for a lot of people. Many families not only long for but require a car like this. It can also replace 2 cars for some households, especially with all that storage capacity and the fact that you can quite literally camp/sleep inside it. Big EV’s with big batteries are very heavy, sure. But this car makes the most of its size and offers a lot of convenience to motivate its footprint.

At 70 mph in more temperate conditions it’ll achieve around 2.6 to 2.8 mi/kWh at 70 mph. In the U.K., based on our average gCO2/kWh of 185g it puts it on par with a vehicle achieving approx. 159 mpg. How many 3 row petrol or diesel SUV’s can achieve that? Here in Scotland it’s even better as our electricity averages just 33g/kWh so it bumps that equivalent figure up to ~894 mpg. So while it may not be as efficient as much smaller EV’s, it’s many times more efficient than any of its petrol or diesel equivalents.
