First time playing Kaub was such a fun experience, learning the new mechanics and map while showing off new animations made me hopeful for this games future. The only problem is the endless waves of runners constantly spawning after you open the cellar, and falling off is quite common due to skill issue

When I heard Ode to Joy at Kaub, I thought: "This game have a great potential, and will be spectacular in the future".

Idk if anyone wants to hear this but I'll share my experience anyway. I was playing San Sebastian in the most braindead server ever, and somehow everyone managed to die at the plank bridge. Only me and the priest made it to the first checkpoint before ultimately all of them died again by in the fort. In the end only me and the priest escaped.

The runner waves at the climax is the hardest thing ever, u need a very coordinated server with blunderbuss and stake spam to clear out each runner wave that legit increases every time, the final wave has about 50 to 60 of them i think

Bayonet charges gonna be cracked in this map, and grenades can actually be useful even if u throw it to the wrong direction since its gonna bound to hit a part of the horde in the final area.

I like how instead of escaping, this time we defend the castle for the incoming prussian reinforcements. Also ode to joy is a fitting choice for the finale

The map is interesting for a few mechanics and that it’s the first map to contain a real character who died in their respective battle

Pretty cool to see a map where you're trying to get a foothold instead of evacuating, a nice breathe of fresh air

I like this map a lot except for the part that I was burned.

If you press c it shows you your objective and in Kaub it highlights the times that you still need

Shame that the footage you chose was one of the playthroughs of me dying as that priest at 5:40 😂 Good Vid regardless of my embarrassing death.

During the game updateing at 8:37AM(timezone) it finally released the DB Pistol, after a while though the game was updated, thus removing the DB barrel causing anyone to loose 2K francs to the ones who bought the DB Also, there used to be a checkpoint in the NEW map called: Kaub ever since the new update dropped and the map, there was a checkpoint, respawning all the characthers in the building with a cannon nearby. After 1 hour of the map being released the devs updated the map and removed the checkpoint. Edit: Please pin :3

Chances are they thought it was too easy with two checkpoints considering its a pretty short map besides the castle holdout

Imagine actually building walls at Kaub, me and 7 other people just killed all of them with the poke (with help from a priest of course)

Pike is so good at this map too cause the officer ability makes pike a god send of killing hoards and i tried killled bomber with it and survive lol also got No Fredrick and still alive lol

This map is like every map combined into one like leipzig you have to push a gunpowder wagon in kaub you have to push a cart full of supplies and like in catacombes you have to hold out (which is basically every other map) and in san seb,leipzig,vardøhus and catacombes you have to alert something/someone to activate the holdout portion of the game and all maps it has fire muisic also every map has a npc that helps you in some ways

First time I played this map survived the entire time on full health... Until the end when a singular runner got past our lines and jumped on me and made me fly into the middle of the staircase landed on the ground breaking my legs and instantly the zombies swarmed around me and killed me. All of this happened 5 seconds before the end (not an exaggeration)

Fun fact in kaub ur a distraction for the millitary and the food and weapons are for the millitary

You can solo end horde if all your teammates die, theres a glitch where you stand on supoourtpillar next to cellar entrance, pole is fake. only way for it to fail is if either your teammates explode a bomber next to you or igniter fire makes you walk backwards

I think they should have more weapons like guns, melees, and more gadgets like the grenades

The double barrel pistol was in the game for a bit until another update was made

now i can actually do this map a bit faster without being clueless lol

I remember approaching to the cellar door clueless of whats about to happen, and the door breaks down and 10 shamblers jump me😭

We need more objective maps because honestly when you basically complete the game it’s not as good as then

You need to get into the cellar to kill all zombies so the castle is free from Zombies so that the Rest of the army can go there I think.

I always die on the stairs by a bomber (people keep shooting them killing everyone of I crash (got low-end device but still play G&B) if there’s a badge for it imma go insane The double barrel pistol is NOT even properly in the game yet, I saw it in a server and it just said default without being able to equip it.

JMT you should try vardhous fortress with mass pikes on the bridge

Fun fact the cart pushes itself into the castle when the door is opened and it make no sense its funny

There is a glitch where when you get to the top of the tower it’s sometimes automatically makes you lose by saying you a abandon your group when you actually didn’t and the only time I’ve always seen it happen. It’s at the very end which is very annoying and triggering.

Right now, by writing this part of the Komment, I am at the start of the Video. I was just looking for Video of the Hometown of my Grandparents Kaub and found this Video. I was many times in Kaub and I am looking forward to see the map. Hope to see not many mistakes. Unfortunately, I already know that I won't see anything about the "Free State" Bottleneck. This only existed after the First World War. And that for a short time. The Metzgergasse looks very good. maybe a little tight but that is maybe because of the figures. The castle Pfalzgrafenstein looks very good. Sadly I can't say anythig about the tower. I couldn't get up there because it's to tight for me. I get Panic there. I recorgnice so many places. Even the Place where now the Blücher-Museum stands. You blow the entrance (at that time it was a Hotel where Blücher once was Sleeping and had to be woken up by the Stuff members because he loved to drink a lot and on that day was the crosssing of the Rhine against Napoleon) with the Canon at 6:04 That is a very good Map. Man, thanks to you a want more back to Kaub than before.

The 1 time i played it and talked to blucher he said that *they will secure the way out for the rest of the army* and i was like BRO WHO IS THEY THE ENTIRE GARRISON OF THIS CASTLE IS MORE DEAD THAN JELLYS CHANEL i want 1 of the only 5 to make it out alive out of the original 20 from the castle horde

If you think about it, lorewise, whoever designed the castle sucks. The spiral staircase spirals clockwise. Basically, when going down, the center is to your right. This is bad. Most people are right hand dominant. Most stairs usually spiral the other way so defenders can grip the rail, have a bit of cover, and still poke enemy invaders

I played this earlier, and it glitched where it would randomly teleport you into the tower just before we got into the castle. If you didn't get teleported, you were locked out of the tower by a wall in the doorway to it, which caused us to have to reset several times since the first few times only a few people got sent into the tower, while the rest of the team was locked out. We could hear their valiant sacrifice, but do nothing... 😔

You said 1700s about Napoleonic. Guts is 1812-1815. Napoleonic was only very early when it was in 1700s like 1796.
