I just bought a S-Works Evade 3 on sale, so I'll be sporting that for this upcoming season. I was sporting the older S-Works Prevail 2 Vent the last couple of years, so we'll see if the Evade lives up to the hype. Your reviews are the best and my go-to when it comes to product research. Keep up the amazing content!

I’ve been rocking the S works Prevail 3 in a size small, only thing I don’t like is the way it fits on top of my head. Feels like it’s about to fall off if I ever get into a crash, I love the ventilation on it. This Kask looks very snug with the way it fits. Really considering getting one.

Looking sleeker than specialized 2 top helmets. I sort of like the kask Icon protone.very sleek.❤Red 🪨 rocks. Good 👍 job mate.

I’ve got a Utopia and it’s legit the coolest helmet I’ve got (compared to my other non aero helmets) when I’m moving. I don’t know how they could make this cooler than that helmet

Just purchased a Green Elemento, my prior helmet is a Giro Aries Spherical. I can absolutely say out of these two helmets that I have the Giro is hands down way more comfortable.

I am not gonna lie I like how this one goes down a little lower and snugs my head, I have the giro and it is for sure comfortable but I really do like how this helmet fit my head, it will always be a preference thing because we all have different shape heads

Very interesting for the 3D and the carbon but for the weight and the price i prefer my Giro Spherical, thanks for the video 😊

i'm sure it saves 0.5 watts at 70kmh too

My Kask(‎Protone Icon) is terrible at keeping sweat out of my eyes. The padding does not absorb moisture and doesn't redirect it away. The water sort of builds up and cascades over the padding and runs into your eyes. My old Kask(Rapido) had absorbent padding. You could put your head down and squish the helmet against your forehead very 15 to 20 minutes to get the water out of it.

That's a shame. I've still got the original Protone and I love everything about it except the amount of sweat I get in my eyes in summer. I was hoping the Icon might have addressed this. I did have a look at the Valegro for the summer, but it didn't seem as comfortable when I tried it.

I would be way more accepting of these helmets if they were safety rated for all regions. This helmet had a late delay release for NA just like the Abus Gamechanger 2.0 for safety reasons. You are correct about MIPS. I do not think that is the ultimate end all safety mechanic. If you look at that Virginia study you'll see that the POC gel system rated highly among the MIPs helmets and the amount of helmets tested in that system is very selective with many popular helmets missing. My problem with helmets, mainly Kask's aero offering that Ganna was spotted wearing with the ear cover, is if they lean too far into having aerodynamic appendages that becomes shrapnel in the case of a crash rather than for protection or interferes with the natural body. That and the ballooning prices of them.

I have the black Elemento. The 3D printed padding feels better than foam for sure. It does feel a little heavier than my Prevail, but it also feels like a better made helmet. The prevail seems flimsy comparatively.

I looked into these helmets and decided not to buy them due to not having the capability to hold sunglasses.

Asthetics, then sunglass dockability are the two deciding factors for me for any lid

are you sure your scale was working, or you took all other things out of those brand new helmets? my Trek Velocis Mips size L is only 264g.

I have 2 Kask helmet allegro & kask elemento. However, boa adjustable broke the first week of using it & Kask replace it but the side rubber padding near boa easiy came off. POC Side rubber padding last until now after 3 years wearing it!!! With money spend should have bought Met Trenta 3K Carbon.

I've read 2 or 3 reviews where people claim they've has to replace the 3D pads inside after a few months. Anyone have any input on this?

I have not seen this yet, we have sold a ton of them and the riders have not complained about it but maybe it depends on weather and how much the rider rides and also hygiene

MET Trenta helmets do not meet CPSC ratings. You won't see them in US retailers unless they were illegally imported.

@@cup_and_cone Tour Mag crash tested many helmets, and Met was among the best. Also lightest, and super ventilation.

i'll stick with my Aries. hands down the best helmet i've used to date.

Kask make some sexy looking helmets... Protone was crappy quality though and no warranty support.

is that beard any aero? The best helmet for me is the one you even notice, and that one is the prevail 3, great helmet.

I have read or heard that helmets with a white back experience reduced accidents, due to better visibility. However, there are almost no helmets on the market, including white helmets, that are white in the back. Did I just imagine that white in the rear helmets are safer, or does the industry just not care?

Stay with Met, all models are under 250 gramms.

I'll put my MET Trenta 3K Carbon up to bat as being lighter and sexier than any of those.

Only one that's acceptable is POC simply because of the way some of their models have the straps positioned off the face. But yeah, cycling rule #15

The elemento is a good looking helmet, but Im still keen on the protone, one day we will pay 1000£ for a helmet

For me buying a helmet that's not as aero as the top offerings with this much money is kinda crazy. Would much rather go for utopia or evade

These are basically buzz-word cafe rider flex helmets. 3D printed pads are designed for compression, how much compression does a 300g helmet actually generate to justify the 3D pad and besides, a helmet sitting on your head shouldn't be compressing your head making the pad seems pointless. Then again Im running a 270g Gamerchanger with no pads so that is a "W" for the Kask if we can call it a "W" and Im an early adopter of natural aero gains aka boldness and those 3D pads look to have zero absorption. And for the weight, its more than 10% heavier than the prevail 3... pfft, at least it will look good in pictures next to a croissant and skinny latte.

Helmet manufacturers with the same old aero nonsense...and then charge ridiculous money for them..... 🤮

Kask makes some of the best looking helmets out there, in my opinion, but the rear cradle is plasticky and uncomfortable (some of the edges got sharp on my Protone) on my baldy head. Now wearing the Giro Aries - much more comfortable and nearly as good looking.

3D printing is very cheap my friend made a cell phone holder for 30 cents. I'm unsure why the cycling industry makes 3d printed items 2x more expensive
