Yeah, Despy should def win the singles title.

Now this is interesting. Shout-out to Hiromu for being respectful in his love for the Junior Heavyweight Division by giving up the title for this matchup to be the replacement in the cards. If I had to be honest, Desperado might be the one I'm going for more than BUSHI. After his war with Hiromu to end 2020, he deserves a one-on-one opportunity for the title, but this is better than nothing. May the Wandering Luchador rise to stardom on the defeat of ELP.

Last year's BoSJ was the first time I saw Despy. He's become one of my favorites in all of wrestling. Hope he finally wins the belt. It's time ^-^

Honestly? I think New Japan just fell upon a case of great booking after Hiromu's injury, as this feels like such a unique situation where all 3 people have a legitimate case for challenging for the vacant Junior Heavyweight title, which is sometimes a weird thing in wrestling, especially on vacant titles. - Bushi is coming off of challenging and defeating Master Wato on a grudge match and was about to get a chance at the Junior Tag Titles before the injury happened. While also being named by the champ himself as his replacement for his title match. - ELP had regained the Tag Titles alongside Ishimori and had already been granted a Junior Heavyweight title shot by the champ himself, which only didn't happen due to Hiromu's injury. - Despy had pushed Hiromu to the limit at the BOSJ Finals and had a win over him prior to it during the round robin portion of it (which is what led to SHO challenging Hiromu At Hiroshima) and now regained the titles he had lost to ELP and Ishimori previously. Now holding a win over the guy who was slated to challenge next. Even though all of this happened by chance due to Hiromu's unexpected injury, this feels like too perfectly coordinated of a triple threat match to be true. Props to everyone involved in this. Also, Go Despy!
