Amazing view of the layout that we don't usually see. Everard Junction was the first layout I saw on KZread as I set out to build a Thomas layout for a birthday present. I think I watched all of Richard's videos at least twice and some more than that. This was eighteen months ago. I am now 1 year into my second layout. This time, it's one for me. It is so useful to have so many people filming their skills for us all to benefit from.

Thanks for sweating it out in both lofts for our viewing pleasure. You need to get a work bench a la Dean Park away from the heat (says the man whose work bench is 6" from his layout!) ;-)

Great to see to different railway modelers work together, Richard NJ have managed to show Richard EJ layout in a different perspective, I must admit when EJ decided to rebuild EJ, I was not sure (not knowing of the base board problems, but a better railway has been built), as for NJ electrics are a more a problem in our heads, am enjoying your station build. As for me I have gone to O gauge so, a simpler station (basic) design (as the the track takes more room, even had to cut a set track point down to fit my layout base board).

Cool beans. Seeing that low layout at 3’ off the floor gives me some confidence for my plans which will hopefully be a stacked 3 levels where the lower level will need to be close to the floor for the top level to be at chest height. Thanks for a great perspective. Love the hyperlapses. Greetings from Sammamish do you and Richard.

I put close couplings on my Jouef Mk3 coaches, works very well, I recommend opening up the coupling holes a little, which helps with the up and down movements and makes coupling up easier

Finally KZread's algorithms working in a way it should. Good to have found you, very well made video, and a great insight, I honestly didn't realise how low the new Everard Junction layout was, as Richard does such a good job with his camera angles.

Tha ks for a great video! I must admit I whimpered internally when Richard said when he was born as my memories are mainly of BR blue in the 70s! If it weren't for water tanks and modern roof trusses getting in the way I'd consider a loft layout. There'd have to be some form of ventilation/cooling in the summer though!
