Hello LORRINA!!!

I just wonder how they look outside in daylight. Not just this one but any of the bronzers. This is very pretty and I have quite a few Jones Road products and happy with them. I'm always worried that once I get outside, it's darker on my skin then I thought.

I understand what you mean. Sometimes it’s an entirely different look outside of the household light. This one blends pretty well so I haven’t had any shocks outside.

It's a pretty one!

It’s that time again!

I have the Chantecaille gel bronzer in the tube-the small one- -I really like it-it looks similar to this-I ordered it in the light-wanted to try after watching another review on it too.. I really love the glowy seamless aspect to this product.. using much more cream /gel products this summer! Thanks Rebecca! It looks beautiful-lets your skin glow through!

I have the Gel Bronzer in light, and I mix it with my foundation because I worry that I am going to use too much. Now that I see that it can be put elsewhere than mixed with foundation, I just may try it. I don't have WTF, but my foundation is a shade lighter so that the gel bronzer will match my skin tone exactly.

You know, I just recently started reviewing BB products on this channel so I haven’t gotten to those. I’ve always been a huge fan of the brand - pre and post the woman herself - but until this past holiday season I hadn’t delved into it on camera. I’ll start doing more.

I’m a very light redhead complexion but I think I mite try the medium, I have the lightest in her powder bronzer that gives me a must sun kissed look that looks very natural on me as I never ever tan I always burn ( if I did not use sunscreen ) so I’m really thinking about the medium one I have been looking for some reviews on the medium but haven’t really seen any at least not on light skin like mine , the shade you applied today looked beautiful on you ! I feel like the medium, with the red leaning tone would be GORGEOUS on you. Might be worth a quick email to their customer service with a natural lighting no makeup photo to see if they agree. They are very very good with those kind of questions.

I might try the Drunk Elephant.....but VBB also does the glowing primer in bronze...which is really nice....but expensive.

Holli! Very very different VBB product. The VB is much more like the Charlotte Hollywood flawless filter. Both absolutely lovely but totally different from the drunk elephant or the Jones Road. All are lovely products. And it’s easier to get the drunk elephant one lately. For a time there it was impossible to grab

@@starrypunk20 wear time on the gel was really good for six hours faded a bit more by eight but pretty good still. Doubled when powder bronzer is also applied over.

I am a light medium neutral as well, and when ever I go with the light option vs the medium option…it’s always the wrong choice!!

That is so true and I would like to say that when I go with the medium it’s the wrong choice but that’s not true. I always need to go darker than I think I do.

What a great video. The arm swatches were very helpful. Such a range of colors. I see what you’re saying about the light Jones Road. You can use a lot with the light. It’s looks super natural and your skin looks really fresh. Not made up. I think you would have to temper yourself if you bought the medium. We are a color match in skin tones. I have the chantecaille , deBronzie and the Armani drops in color 100. Your video showed me that 100 would be better than 90 :) I won’t be buying this product. I have plenty right now. Here’s an off topic comment. My hair is so light that I have to wear a tight headband to keep my hair out of the way. I cannot touch my hair at all as I get ready. Often times I have to use micellar water on a wash cloth to remove face products off of my hair. I’m not complaining as my hair is just starting to turn grey and it just makes my hair look lighter. Winning! 🤷🏼‍♀️. Thanks for another great review. I hope you hit 15k tonight ☘️

Oh my goodness, Tina, I’ve never thought of that before. It’s true, especially with something like a gel bronzer. With super light hair, you would absolutely have to make sure it didn’t start coloring the edges of your hair! That’s so true! Thank you so much for your kind wishes on the 15 K. Oooh thanks so much for this great video Rebecca I'm going into Liberty's today in London to look at light and Medium...as I'm a similar skin tone to you. I've been rather afraid of the Wtf as its looks too dewy and the sticks too dry for my 50yr old skin.....I'll report back on what I buy and how I get on....its hard to beat Erborian cc at this time of year tho xxx

What did you find? What did you think of the shade choices?

I’ve never actually used a gel or liquid bronzer. Do I need more bronzer of any type? Gah! No! Will I try this? Ooohhh Maybe! The Armani shade looks more up my alley… but it’s the dreaded dropper 😖 But the Jones Road looks so good on you! Plus, I’m pretty fair and this looks hard to mess up and turn myself into an orange clown. You are so, SO close to 15k!!! Woo Hoo!!! The live is coming soon!!!

Thank you so much, lisa. You are so thoughtful to notice and I appreciate it very much. Yes, you will not have to worry about turning orange with either this product or the Armani. That Armani dropper is such a mess though. It almost looks like, with the Armani, like you took the dropper Apart wrong. Have you ever had that happen? It’s a pump and you accidentally unscrew it and you see the inner workings and realize you were supposed to just remove the top and use it as a pump? Or is that just me?

You looked so lovely as usual! I have to confess that in the beginning as you swatched, I was like “how is this to light for you?”🤔 but then just like you said as I watched the demo I was like oohhh! 😅 I am dark skinned and I am very interested in this as I had not heard of a gel bronzer before! When I pick up the darkest shade I will let you know how it goes! 😊

Oh please please let me know. I am always so interested in feedback from both fair and deep skin tones as it helps me educate others. I am so appreciative. Yes. When I was demonstrating it I realized I sounded like I was crazy until I put it on the face. That’s the only time you could see that it wasn’t too dark. Ha ha

Hi Rebecca! I am fairer than you and I have the Medium and the Dark 😮 and blend them then tap on cheeks and nose bridge with a stippling brush - and they look fabulous! I highly recommend trying at least the Medium!!

I had wanted the drunk elephant but every time I try and buy it it’s sold out! I love Chantecaille products but the reviews of the product were meh so I didn’t want to spend that amount of money if something that wasn’t perfection. The Armani looks beautiful. You are right on both counts. I think the drunk elephant is actually more widely available now. It was available in the US at Sephora at time of filming when I checked it. I think it’s got some competition now so it doesn’t sell out as quickly. And I think it actually lasts the longest of the bunch as well.

What eyeshadow are you wearing? I love it!!

This bronzer really looks great on you. I’m wondering if I should get the light or medium. I’m about your skintone, maybe a half shade darker. I would like to use this all over my face and neck, as my body is darker, and I wear summer clothes 12 months a year. Yes, not having to be careful with it, is a plus!

If you can handle a bit of a gentler application...that is not a dig at you, haha, it's a comment on me. I can not control myself, then you can totally do the medium. But if you want to do ten things at once and not make a mistake with application, the light is super buildable and pretty.

Definitively I prefer the powder bronzer and that dusty rose shade can be used either as a blush or a bronzer or a combo. It is the way to go

Thanks for this! I wish I'd gotten the medium as well. Within an hour, my face eats these cream products, no matter what i prep or set it with. As a light/light-medium complexion, I find that the bronzers with a slight red tint (as opposed to olive) are more livening, however briefly. The Chantecaille looks gorgeous as well. Which ones stay on the longest for you?

My face eats them too, Lisa. And my Temptation is always to over apply but that doesn’t work either. Then it’s over applied for the short term and not there anyway for the long term! Not a solution. I think the drunk elephant probably lasts the longest. The Caliray might but I just don’t like that oily feeling it’s like an old fashion suntan oil.

@@jcriverside setting spray is the answer I suppose but I hate the feel.

i initially thought i was going to love this, but the way its meant to be applied and what im looking for out of it do not mesh lol. It does work the best literally on its own as an all over 'tint' or just to bronze but i found it to not mesh with my products. It worked well with my SF skin tint but instantly wanted to lift any concealer that made contact with it. I hope the DE is not as oily and would mix better. I did not find this to mesh well with moisturizer or foundation, the consistency did not jive will my products at least.

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty oh i thought the caliray was oilier? I was only going to try DE for the purpose of mixing in with moisturizer, sunscreen or fdn, not to use as a bronzer. I think the JR is just too much no makeup makeup for me haha

Okay Rebecca here I am...having things to say again. Lol. So this video I feel for me is a perfect one to bring up the fact that so many companies make such similar products that if you don't agree with the ethics of a company you can find something else somewhere else. I have just minor questions and issues with Deunk Elephant due to their past being a bit messy; i.e. them saying Glossier ripped off their packaging, them calling that influencer dumb, people saying they have terrible customer service. I have never tried any of their products because of #1 those issues I just listed but #2 because I dont perosnally see a reason to try anything due to their pricing and their packaging isn't it for that pricing to me. What are everyone's thought on the ethics side of companies?

Hi dear Rebecca, i don't have many products, i mean this type of products, real skin tint. Of course i have cream bronzers, but in this category, i have the Chantecaille you showed. And i ordered at Liberty last weekend this skin tint but in medium, and i am a bit lighter than you, maybe we have to change when you want the medium 😂😂ik know it's not possible, but sometimes you think it is, how normal it is now to send a message here to Los Angeles from The Netherlands! I hope my package comes soon, but 32 degr. here in the weekend 🙃🙃so i have to stay in for the pollen/smog or hate makeup anyway 😂😂but i will let you know later!!! Next week bit cooler and wind from the North Sea is promissed! But from all the colours you showed, this one i love the most, and i love my Chantecaille product, but the colour.....especially in winter it's so, so Rebecca, Chantecaille really has to make more colours, this stuff is so good!!! I can totally understand your concern. Good wear time. Was still there at 8 hours. Faded much much more by 10 :)

I could not be trusted with this product, a few drops - on the dressing table 🇬🇧/ vanity🇺🇸, a few drops on the carpet &, eventually, it might make it to my face! 😂💕
