Legend has it, that a lot of people were conceived here. hehe. jk idk I just made that up. In all seriousness though, this would be the only reason to visit Jersey. I know about it because I saw the sign for Palisades just after the Washington bridge.

Parts of the park are dog friendly. The Shore Trail is probably the best bet as the other trails have sharp rocks and steep inclines/declines.

I live nearby & yes. People bring their dogs all the time.
