Brand New Rigs, Brand New Trails, Brand New Everything on this rock crawling road trip adventure! Its too dry and smoky at home so it was time to hop in with my buddy Luke, load up his Toyota Rock Buggy and get on the ferry to go for another back country 4x4 adventure with the boys.
We met up with a whole new crew of guys to do some sasquatch country rock crawling. Some Island Spec Jeep YJs and Jeep TJs, a Jeep XJ, Toyotas and a Suzuki rock buggy took to some epic off road trails for this trip.

Frameless Wonder drivers are special, way beyond "It's a Jeep thing..." Thinks he's clever with the storage location of that recovery strap, until it shreds under minimal load due to the elements causing deterioration. What do I know though, I'm just a former Bering Sea crabber, Union Ironworker and Qualified Rigger, so naturally I drive an Fzj80 LandCruiser YeeyeeXJreeree's are usually laborers, maybe an apprentice carpenter... 🤣 Also, keep up the solid work sir And that shirt's fugg'n Mint

Samsquanch and the Struggle-Bus; good stuff! Thanks for the new terrain and rigs; dig the Tracker's? Bed and fan assembly, a touch home-spun but cool. Takes me back to the late 90's in the Big-Holes(mtns.) w/ the tight lodgepoles screeching sheet for miles; did not even know about external protection, 'Ol Struggler---took it for the team: and the only mudhole for miles, priceless!

That thing works really well for trails like that. It’s essentially a buggy sized full body rig so its the perfect combo for tight trees!

Oh its always a "pay with your first born" sort of thing. $195 each way. I could fly all the way to Mexico for $390!

Way she goes, if you're lucky you only paid 30% of retail for all the parts so it leaves ya some wiggle room to fix all the past guys mistakes!

Are sticky tires like winter tire rubber ? Or like drag slick ? Some say they don’t work in the snow ?

They're like a drag slick, super soft rubber, you can grab the lugs and twist them around by hand. Meaning they don't last long and you can't drive them on the road. They get hard in cold weather and act a lot more like "regular" tires below freezing, they still work, just not as good as when theyr'e warm!

Not looking likely, events are hard to film because people not at the event don't much care about it so its hard to make the cost worth it!

Parker was buggin me to come down and I'd love to but its not in the budget. I need to keep hustlin and grow my channel and then I could afford to shoot a lot more events and roadtrips!

Next time I see him its on my list. Long and short its a Tracker with a 1.6L, Suzuki trans and tcase with 4.7s. Toyota axles front and rear with 4link, ORIs in the front, Airshocks in the rear, full hydro steering and 37" sticky Treps.
