I was watching a documentary about this earlier today and wanted to see if anything else has occurred since Jodi was kidnapped. It's too bad they haven't found the person responsible. I'm assuming whomever took Jodi has intimidated potential informants. I truly hope if that's the case, people will be able to overcome their fears and let the PD know what they know. 😢

@@OikPoinFive I just watched this. The private investigator seems to throw out various theories hoping it will trigger someone's memory. For example, in 2020, he suggested the possibility of a drug dealer who had been involved in murdering several people and who was set to become executed. The guy's accomplice claimed he had something to do with Jodi's disappearance but couldn't get him to tell her specific details (how convenient...ugh). Anyway, that theory must not have gone anywhere, since the PI is now saying it was likely a jealousy motive. That sounds more likely. The accomplice of the drug dealer was likely seeking attention or fame by claiming the drug dealer did something with Jodi. The only scenario that I could see the drug dealer's involvement is if Jodi had been an investigative reporter who had uncovered some evidence about the drug dealer, and he kidnapped her and killed her to prevent exposure. As far as I know, Jodi wasn't an investigative reporter.

I am reading Dead Air right now. The one thing that I keep going back to, is that either her assailant was in the apartment with her and walked out with her, or otherwise, only 2 people knew Jodi was running late and wouldn't be out at her normal time. Jodi herself, and Amy. I just find it hard to believe this was done by a stranger. Just my opinions.

The perp (known or unknown to her) found out where she lived. He generally knew her work habits. Parked outside that morning and waited. She was running late so he waited a bit longer.

Not true. According to FindJodi podcast investigators she bought the car from a guy who works for a car dealership. She just hadn’t transferred the title yet.

There is SO much misinformation about that car! She was "testing" the car. The man who owned it was the President of an NE Iowa textiles corporation. Additionally, he had nothing to do with this, he was simply the one selling the car.
