You should make the access under the bed where the mattress lifts up and the whole panel lifts with a shock that locks so it stays up so you don't have to hold it up as you store things

It's only called an "RV' as a trade name, a model name. It's no different in utility than the other homes. There's no diesel engine & tranny..lol. Way too literal some of you. It won't depreciate once you roll if off the lot..no different than the others that will not just hold their value, but likely will appreciate in the near term unti more builders get involved in tiny home construction which will increase the national supply & competition will stabilize prices thereafter. You can double your $ easy selling many of the ITH's in CAL & NY for example. It's already being done. Fact.

I could turn that single platform into a simple diy full in a jif. Definitely loving the bigger fridge idea.. Building a sweet little cupboard or two for my stash of clothes could be done on the road. Leave it white on the outside too, I can paint my own red stripe! Might like that back window up a couple inches but if that is the only “imperfection” in the whole blessed camper, you’d never hear a peep from me! Lol I am a disabled USMC vet with a lifelong dream of being a nomad. My family is scattered and there is still a couple of states I’ve not been to to complete the set. This is a solid dream come true. I’m starting my savings fund on the first. Might take me a while but tomorrow is one step closer than yesterday. 😊

Randy I have a few suggestions : I would make 2 models , this one at 6'8" that sleeps 2 to 3 people, with a table and built in dinette chairs so that a 3rd person could sleep in there if desired. Also you need inside storage space for clothes and pantry items. And a mirrored area to brush your teeth. And could you put the solar and water heater etc either under the bed or in the tongue box and of course insulate it. The second camper needs to be @ least 8'8" tall and has two sinle beds one over the other and widen the eating area so that all can fit in there and it will also fit 1 to 2 more people ( you may have to increase the length of the RV by 2 to 3 feet ). Do the same modifications as on the first and this one sleep up to 5 to 6 people . I can't wait to see what you do !!!

This is an Incred-i-RV-Box. Let the owners paint what colors they want. The Honda Pilot and Ridgeline can both toll up to 5000 lbs. Love the pass-through storage underneath, great for skis, snowboards, surf & paddle boards, folding grill and chairs, etc. Also, maybe put an access door to get items in and out from inside the RV. Pretty much many of the RV's have the rounded windows like on this one and love the green, as in solar and off grid travel. One may want to spend a day or two at a campground to get a chance to do laundry, or if the weather isn't sunny. I would prefer to use an electric cooktop inside, like the portable Induction cooktops, a toaster oven or microwave that can do convection/air frying etc. The low roof would be handy if you travel under tunnels or areas that are low height. Maybe future Incred-I-Boxes can have that pass-through storage and put your mattress on top on the inside. Just a thought that came in my head. If you do a 22-foot Incred-i-Box with an extra foot in the bathroom, you could squeeze in washer/dryer combo, and put a hanging rod above for your hanging clothes. Maybe those some steps that slide under the Incred-I-Box. Maybe some doors with those steps, love the steps that travel with you. Maybe put the water heater on the end wall in the bathroom so the pipe / can be longer than on the side, which would give you room over the fridge for storage, like counter-top appliances you might want to bring with you, or whatever you want to bring.

I absolutely love your new RV tiny home. Only wish the window over the bed was higher above the bed, because with the mattress, that would make the window too low. The changes that you're thinking about sounds good. One last thing. The roof should have a little curve to it, so water would run off and not settle on it. Oh yes, under the bed, drawers. Maybe two or three large drawers, if they fit, for more storage.

I'm reading that minisplit needs to be sized for the area. From this old house: "On the other hand, when mini-split units are too large for a space, it can cause short cycling. This means it will turn on and then off right away because it heats or cools the space too quickly, resulting in higher energy bills, more frequent repairs, and even mini-split failure. Short cycling also produces uneven temperatures and poor humidity control, which can be problematic".

@@streetsmartintelligent Definitely interesting to hear the different opinions. Hard to imagine size of room has "nothing to do with it" and that it's all about how hot it gets. Love the RV concept. Judging from the comments it’s obvious you are not going to find a floor plan that suits everyone and there are too many configurations to make assembly line manufacturing feasible. What about keeping to the DIY philosophy and produce an inexpensive, well built, bare box floor plan (Incred-I-box style) Create a ‘custom shop’ with finish craftsman for all the add-in’s that a customer might want?

Nice job. One concern would be the 100 gallons of water on the tongue, that's over 800 pounds plus the 80 lbs for the propane in addition to the weigh of the rest of the trailer forward of the axles. That's alot of tongue weigh! You might consider relocating the fresh water tank under the trailer closer to the axles to reduce the tongue weight. Adding a MaXXair fan to the roof is important in an RV to vent humidity & cooking odors.

Another plus: in the comments section there is great feedback from experienced RV'ers and even RV industry folks who are chiming in with their years of experience dealing with the typical RV shortcomings & the best solutions now available. Provides lots of additional storage for clothes, food, etc. Built in bed probably needs step up/used for foot rest because tall if using it as daybed couch. Storage in step. Great idea to manufacture an affordable solar powered RV. We are watching 🌀 hurricane Idalia making land fall in Florida. RVs such as yours could go far to help people who are displaced from their homes. I really like The Cottage model. Your company offers so many options. We are in New Hampshire where there is a serious housing shortage. I forwarded your recent ribbon cutting video to a large non-profit here. It would be beneficial if our NH legislature could follow suit with TN to accept " certified modular" tiny houses as permanent NH residences. Perhaps your marketing department could put together a DVD portfolio presentation to submit to state legislatures, showing how TN worked with your company. Provide key legislature contacts.

If u add a drainage pipe & tilt the pipe to catch the water that may work 🤔 Question, can u go over how will the gray water be drained/empty when needed? 🙏🏽

Just wondered ,even though panels are insulated in storage area what about the air in extreme cold stepping up to the bed area. If this becomes an issue perhaps below the bed a controlled vent on the floors ((in the living area))close to the edges where the storage windows are , which will elevate the cold air on the underneath of the bed.

Thanks Amanda & Randy! Great video. Loved the RV/Camper and all the features inside it. That stove exhaust hood is unique. I predict you'll have more inquiries about purchasing the camper. Great outside color. Great hearing about your company and employees.

For the door under the bed. Make it sliding is 2 parts. Sliding to the sides will not interfere with the living space and easier to open if things are next/infornt to the bed.

I paid my $10,000 for a Buffalo Creek lot today Aug. 31, 2023! I Made the email /phone call to sales to ITH last week, jumped in and made the plunge. I’ve been watching ITH since way before covid! ❤😂😢. I bought, out of the blue, plane ticket to Knoxville Airport last week too, for Sept. 11 - 23 to pick out a home!! Happy Birthday Amanda, 11th🎉❤😂
