That means nothing because he one and dones, blocks, and cheeses out his ranks in all those games because he's legit bad at them. The fact you aren't even some longtime Tekken player illustrates that you both have a natural instinct for fighters and that Dale has none for them. He only hopped on them because he saw the camaraderie in the SF4 era FGC and sought to be a part of it wishing so bad to be a peer with Snake Eyez and K-Brad. He can't even get the hang of Mario Kart or Mario Party. He's utter ass but shout out to you and others for picking up fighters and actually looking to learn by playing them which is leagues above Dale's spectrum ass.

In reality he's just an average to intermediate player at best. And the thing is these days he can't grasp that fact because of his ego.

He got moved to the middle of nowhere desert by middle school, far and away to this day from the city or even the Valley, but otherwise you're right. He lost his shit so bad with Delacruz in that infamous Smash match because he couldn't stand losing nonstop when he fancied himself "the fighting game guy" among his extremely limited social circle. I promise he didn't grow up playing fighters in arcades or around people who played them beyond console casuals. He's only been about optics and shortcuts so he's rested his laurels since forever on the idea that because he's the most into something means he's automatically the best and most "deserving" to win or else it isn't real when the reality is he's dogshit at vidya in general. I grew up playing fighters in local arcades in the city, taking the bullshit from older kids and their friend groups around the cabinets, but it taught me young to ignore noise and be better with showing than talking. I got respect in no time by showing up, taking my L's, but learning from them to get wins. That's how it goes and Dale refuses these lessons cause he didn't grow up playing these games much less at arcades when his old ass grew up with a SF2 cabinet literally everywhere back in those days. Dale only got into fighters during the peak SF4 days. Just because he played some SF2 and shit growing up on SNES means nothing since everyone played or owned it on there. His attitude about them is cemented around this entitlement that because he's made it "his" thing that nobody should be beating him - much less his few IRL friends like Delacruz - when it's wholly fallacious logic. He's a Gold level SF player at best nevermind his special needs Tekken play. The fact that T8 has enabled him worse than ever to go for grabs nonstop is a hint.
