In the last 4 years, NM Mumbai is attracting front end consult roles in Acc Strategy (15 summer interns in 2023) , Mck Impl consultant role and Bain(Last 10 years) and EY Parthenon They were also able to convert LEK in last 2 years.Basis that data It definitely is above Udaipur in Consulting.Also in Sales and Gen Man -TAS and Aditya Birla, GE, Mahindra and all bigwigs offer leadership roles which are missing in CAP IIMs.So NM Mumbai is a notch above CAP as of now..

Why there's no 2nd merit list yet this year any idea in iim kashipur? Any update regarding that? No one's talking about this. Last year it released on 15th may. This year still there's no update. I'm stuck at nc-obc 60 WL. thought it'll convert so didn't pay jammu and nagpur or any other baby iims. Now don't have a clue about what will happen 😢

let be specific which year placement avg you are taking into consideration because avg of it kgp was 22.xx in 2023 and it kgp rocked in sip with avg of around 2.xx.

Its better to be in a close proximity to home. Also the colleges are of the same league. Food climate home sickness etc makes a lot of difference in academic performance. Given the rigour of MBA it's better to be near home to avoid a burnout

This is a sensible way to look at it, I am glad. If this was your first or even second attempt, retake CAT. While for a GEM its always difficult to make it to an Old IIM, but you could still make it to a better non-IIM (MDI, XL, SP Jain...). Otherwise, if you have IIMU and want no more attempts, join it.

If you are not averse to analytics in anyway then IIM Ranchi should be it. It's average (19) is higher than IIM Amritsar's (16), and smaller batch size. Plus, BA will make you unique and sought-after. Do your research. Do subscribe if haven't already.

Sirs ranking show ranchi a little above but unaudited reports of Ranchi is worrying me. Kashipur promises a better campus life and is near Delhi but ranchi in rankings is very slightly above.
