You know what would be "New" that would be sought after? Any 2023 bass boat @ a price under $40k with 200hp. The market is already full of boats with prices too high for the working class.

That would be convenient. Unfortunately it doesn’t exist and it’s a pretty stupid request. Go buy a used boat for under $30,000 with a 200 hp. The engine cost half that do the math. Sorry you’re not capable!

I have 2018 lynx on 2022 yamaha 250 sho. Running the 26 pitch bravo 1 prop improves every aspect of the boat. No more bite in corners gets on pad faster handles cross wake very well know.

Thanks John for the information. I didn't know that about the Lynx hull made for the different engines. When my boat sells I will be in the market for a new one.

I have a 2018 Lynx and with the 24 Fury 3 the boat felt out of control. It felt like it was just plowing water and would bow bite constantly. The 26 Bravo XS fixed a lot of that. But I’m having a hard time buying the hull was revamped just for the new 4s. Mine had a 250proxs 2s and it had the bow hunting issue. I repowered to a new 250proxs 4s and it does the same thing. What I really think BassCat did was was add more bow lift to the hull due to all the complaints. I still really enjoy my Lynx, but the new Puma STS is where it’s at! Cheers.

That doesn’t make any sense that they would add more about Lyft to the newer design. The four strokes are heavier so if you had more bow leift and put a heavier motor, you’re putting the boat even higher out of the water in the front. Jon cruise might be a pro fisherman but his update on this boat doesn’t make any sense. I don’t think the hull design is really that much about the engine as much as they took away probably some of the running surface on the boat I mean they might’ve weighted the hill a little bit differently for the 4 stroke but his analysis is pretty lame.

New lynx but cant get slam latches instead of those twist latches

As times continue to get harder, a 115hp or 150hp max class will be the way to go for marketing. AND HONESTLY SAFER TOO 🙋‍♂️

the hull was reworked slightly to work better with the 4 stroke engine

Where are new latches

Don’t care for all the crazy compartment angles or the triangle live wells

I cannot stand 4 stroke motors. 2 strokes are a lot more fun hit harder instead of gradual power

You going to drop over $90k on a bassboat ? It’s funny that now with gas and food prices where they are I don’t see the guys with these fancy new boats on the water anymore and the ones I do see are beginner fisherman that cant catch a limit to save their lives . All the G’s are out in their paid off boats because we don’t care about anything other than catching fish . Do yourself a favor buy a clean used boat for cash than use the extra money left over to spend more time on the water .
