Hey Julianne, I hope you see this. Your car needs to be taken to a different garage mechanic asap. As a sister, daughter, niece etc etc of a long line of very reputable mechanics do NOT leave your car with them or trust them at this point. You’re right, you have a baby not to mention yourself, and anyone on the road with you. That is definitely dangerous for your vehicle to be doing that and there’s obviously a problem. To me it almost sounds like a computer malfunction. And if you have mechanics that are not up to date on their training you’re going to have bigger problems in the end. I can almost guarantee by you leaving your car there, they aren’t doing anymore to your car and are just using it right now as their errand vehicle. For them to come back and tell you they found no issues is a problem. They just told you that they can’t figure out what the issue is and don’t have the knowledge or capability to diagnose and figure it out. And I just want to say that doesn’t make that a bad mechanic but usually they would refer you to a place that can take it to the next step and they didn’t do that. But after talking with my two brothers and just from what you said and them not being able to see the car etc it almost sounds like the computer. Please have it taken to a place that has better understanding for the computers in the cars. I’m so sorry you have to deal with that. Please keep us updated on what happened and what the problem was with the car. 💜💜🤗🤗

I feel the same way as stated above. You may have to reach out to corporate customer service. Not to complain about that dealership but to inquire if that makes or model has had the same problem or to find out where else you can go to have that problem resolved. This is an accident warning to happen .

Hi Julianne, love watching your videos. Your home is coming out so beautiful. As far as your car dying on you, try to Google if anyone else is having the same issue and what was done about it. If you can call Volkswagen directly and let them know. We had to do that with one of our cars a few years back. Good luck and keep up your good work ❤

Same thing happened to my car awhile back it was an electrical issue but they could never find it either it became so much of a problem i had to get a new car, but with the interest rate i know that’s not possible now. House looks great. Surprised you didn’t wash the bedding before you put it on your daughter’s bed, there are so many chemicals sprayed on stuff after it’s made. Hope your car gets fixed. Great video. 😊girl you look amazing, but i understand you gotta wear shorts here it’s so hot.

It is a new feature you can turn it off. Auto shut off for engine in your settings I can't remember exactly what it is calledbut it needs to be turned off. We had same thing in out Volkswagen suv and it is definitely a safety risk for sure!

We have the auto shut off but this is where my car completely turns off and we have to put it in park and restart it 😩

The same thing kept happening to my car ,it kept turning off.I brought it to two different garages but every time they plugged it into the computer to check the diagnostics nothing showed up,had to bring it home I eventually sold it and the new owner never had a problem with it..🤔😕

I had the same thing happening to me with a vehicle I had and I took it to a few mechanics and no one could ever figure out what was wrong with it even though it kept randomly turning off on me while I was driving it. So I ended up taking it back to the dealership that sold it to me and sold it back to them

Continue to take your car to the dealership - any VW one. I believe after 3 attempts you can file a Lemon Law claim. I did in 2007 and won (Chevy)! I don't know if anything has changed since then. Keep a notebook in your car for every time it happens. Also, does this happen right after you get gas? You should write down when you get gas (date & time - keep receipts). If they can't find an electric issue it could be a fuel or fuel pump issue, which can be hard to diagnosis.

Found this on VW forum - "Also, since my post, every-time I get in Atlas, I now "disable" the auto start/stop after I hit start on ignition, and problem has not occurred anymore."

Hi! What age? I bought the mattress from Amazon and it’s okay but if they’re an older toddler I’d probably do a bed like Cams.. they even have tons of fun on the floor beds so you don’t have to worry about them falling out 💕

It sounds like the auto stop. If it is that is the feature of the car. It supposed to be a thing to save fuel but it’s a pain and I agree dangerous.

My mom has had a car do that before and i think it ended up being the battery was the problem but I'm not completely sure. Definitely sounds like something is wrong with your car. Hope all is well. ❤

It may be the ground wire from your battery. Attach it to a different area near where it's attached now and use a new wire. ​@@juliannenichole

I'm sorry about your car! What year is it? My Aunts new Subaru Crosstrek just had the same issue- the mechanics took the car and drove it but couldn't duplicate the problem. She and her lawyer cousin tried to return the car under the lemon law. She ended up trading the car back in and buying a used Kia😢. Her cars issue was with the transmission, but it never sent a check engine code to the engine computer that the mechanics could diagnose. My husband theorizes that during the chip shortage auto companies were using a lot of shoddily made chips and the issue is electronic.

Hi! It’s a 2021.. that is just awful and sounds a lot like what they’re telling me! A shame they can’t fix a car without the computer telling them exactly what it is 😵‍💫 the shoddily made chips would make sense! I’ve looked a lot online and seems like this issue has been happening more often with newer cars

My car has a feature that if you stop for a few seconds it turns off and then when I push the gas it turns back on Did you ask if it has that feature?

That’s very concerning about your car! Definitely needs to be looked at again! I’m shocked there isn’t an open recall on that or other people with the same vehicle having that issue! Try googling your year and see if there is an open recall! Glad nothing worse happened while this occurred when driving !

I had the same situation happen with my car. It has been in the dealership for over 9 months with them trying to replicate the problem I was having. If your car is under warranty I would demand they keep the vehicle until it’s fixed. That’s what we are doing. Mine only has only 33,0000 miles on it and it doesn’t run right and I won’t accept that when I pay money for something. Just suggesting but I would be an advocate for yourself nowadays. Companies don’t care like they used too

Contact the service manager at a different dealership, if no one wants to help you, contact your local news channel with your story, no one likes bad publicity. I had an issue and did this, the business contacted me in a day and all was “fixed” within a few days. Good luck.😊
