I applaud you for your effort. ❤ Your idea sounds great at first. However, your strips are cut on the bias, and then you connect the strips on the straight-of-grain. This won't make useful bias tape because at eachpoint of connection there will be a lumpy area, as the fabric tries to lay flat but can't. I know this for a fact since I have been a seamstress for over 60 years. The old ways are still the best.

A ideia para o corte é muito boa, no entanto, não é assim que se costura viés: a emenda ficará sem flexibilidade e o viés perde a função.

Schrägbänder werden schräg zusammen genäht, sonst sind sie nicht elastisch. Vielleicht aber ist der Stoff selbst bereits elastisch.

Да, конечно, проще! Она стОит копейки. Но это проще, когда у меня магазин в моём доме в моём городе. А когда буду на даче в деревне оооочень далеко от города, и машины у меня нет, то там мне такая идея очень пригодится когда-нибудь. Я очень рада, что появился этот ролик🥰

pues no tanto. el bies es cortado y luego utilizado en el otro sentido.

Lo veo algo complicado , cuando hay formas mas sencillas de hacerlo y sin tener que coser las tiras.

You could have sewn a bias tube and marked it and it and saved a lot of work. Plus it would be on a true bias. Seams included.

Bias strips should be handled as gently and as little as possible because they stretch. The initial cutting may work, but after that, I would skip all those other steps altogether as being to stressful on the fabric.
