Was holding off on Saw X till a steelbook got released. So glad I waited it looks great next to the Saw Collection steelbook from Walmart last year.

I got the SAW X steelbook and absolutely love it! I also got the original release with the poster artwork slipcover that is embossed. I love both and so glad to have them in my collection. As a massive SAW fan I am so happy!

The discs in the Saw X steelbook is meant to be eyeballs. And the red on the left is like the blood and idk what it's called but the end bit behind the eye.

Diary of the Dead is Awesome . I always liked it. Honestly, I like them all even Survival. If I see that Steelbook at my local Walmart. I'll upgrade for sure.

Diary of the Dead is definitely not my favorite of the George Romero Dead film; however, I can still enjoy it. I don’t think that there was a bad film in Romero’s series. I am going to try to purchase that Steelbook.

I saw Diary of the Dead in theaters, I think it's decent, but out of the last 3 Romero Dead Films, Land is my favorite, but I love both Dennis Hopper and John Leguizamo so I'm biased haha.

Land of the Dead is what stopped him from ever wanting to make another studio picture ever again. From everything he had said he absolutely hated making Land of the Dead because of studio demands and interference. Out of the last 2 its Survival of the Dead that is hardest to watch. Diary is pretty good for what it is, it was never going to be on the level of the other 4 that came before he decided to start over.

Survival of the Dead is awesome. It was definitely better than Diary, but Land was better than both of them 😎

Diary steelbook looks nice. Def gonna keep a eye out for that.

Oh there absolutely was CGI all over Diary of the Dead and Survival of the Dead. He did an interview where he talked about how much he LOVED CGI and how much easier and better he felt it was using CGI. He talked about how with the original 3 IF they messed up a shot, they lost days having to clean and redress things with practical but with the CGI if something got messed up it didn't matter, they could just do another take without losing time. It was kind of weird how much he seemed to love CGI.

ive been putting off watching saw x as i was so disappointed with spiral but im ready to give it a go good video mate : )

I hope they release survival of the dead I always liked that one a lot more than diary. Saw x is cool to finally get a steelbook but I wish it would have an extended or uncut version. The theatrical cut did feel a bit chopped up

I don't see why Diary Of The Dead gets so much hate. Every found footage film is technically ripping off Cannibal Holocaust so that's not really an argument, and I think Diary holds up better than movies like Cloverfield and Paranormal Activity. If you don't go into it expecting another Night, Dawn, or Day it actually has some really interesting ideas and is one of Romero's more confrontational films.

I think Diary of the Dead is pretty good for what it is. I think its Survival of the Dead that is really kinda garbage, its more like a Hatfield v McCoy that has some zombies as an afterthought. I don't know why people keep trying to tie them into the "Dead Timeline" when he clearly stated they aren't tied to Night, Dawn, Day or Land. He said after Land there was nowhere else to go so he decided to start over.

"Saw X" is my favorite film in the franchise. Generally, I'm not a big fan of the "Saw" movies, even though I grew up watching them. However, "Saw X" did something different that I really appreciated. The Jigsaw character never worked for me because I found him to be a massive hypocrite. He claims he's not a murderer and only targets people who deserve it, and the movies try to portray this as true. But trapping and killing people who clearly don't deserve it, like Adam and Gordon from the first film, Danny Glover's character and his partner from the first film, Rigg from part 4, and Strahm from part 5, contradicts this claim. He even ordered Gordon's wife and little girl to be killed by his henchman just because Gordon ran out of time. WTF! In "Saw X," changing Jigsaw into more of an anti-hero made me actually enjoy the movie. Who is worse than scammers who take money from cancer patients? That is sick. Jigsaw targeting people who actually deserve it is what I like to see, unlike a cop from part 4, Rigg, who was punished for "working too hard" to find his missing colleague. Great job covering this news!

I agree, I like Diary more than Survival of the dead. Survival bored me, sad to say. And I also agree about Land of the dead. I like it mmore now, than when it first came out. P.S I got Diary of the Dead for a buck on Dollar Tree 2 years ago :p

The Walmart where I live doesn't carry steelbooks. Only certain 4k releases, some blu rays and very sparce figures, etc. It seems the demographics dictate what this Walmart carries and most of it is dvds.🙄

I got Saw X for Christmas but haven't had the chance to watch it yet whenever I get 4K releases I make sure they come with a Blu-ray does this one give you anything extra in terms of extra features I used to have Diary Of The Dead on DVD from Dimension Extreme I was never crazy about the film so I sold it my favorite of the second batch of Romero dead films was Land Of The Dead and your right Christian Survival Of The Dead is the worst I need to check out Diary Of The Dead again it's been awhile so I may pick this one up I also have The Hatchet complete series coming from Dark Sky Films and I also want to get a fifty years of Texas Chainsaw Massacre T shirt from Dark Sky I also have a question do you think it's worth it to get the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 4K just for the documentary because I don't have a 4K player and it doesn't come with a Blu-ray just the extras disc

In my opinion, the first three films are the franchise. Nothing exists after that. With Saw X, they tried to turn John into a full fledged babyface, which just doesn’t work. John was a sympathetic heel in the original three films. I think anyone can feel sympathy for a guy with cancer and we can empathize with the message he was actually trying to teach. But, Saw X tried to turn John into Indiana Jones. That just doesn’t work for me, brother.

@@davidlawrencegraham6722I guess since people always said dawn was such a masterpiece it just never lived up to it for me so it is easily the one that goes down my list the fastest. Diary is also a close one to it. I find night, day, land & survival to be far superior films in execution and themes. I’ve put on dawn & diary multiple times to just end up watching films that do what they are attempting better. Zombieland, Shaun of the dead, braindead, night of the comet & train to busan all do dawns plot better while one cut of the dead, original rec series & Jeruzalem do what diary attempted vastly better. I can complete see how night & day are in a whole different level than land & survival but I wouldn’t put dawn or diary in league with them. I say the same thing about dead & buried and the beyond. Both are apparently masterpieces of horror but both films aren’t even top 5 or even 10 for fulci films I’d recommend people watch. It’s like gone with the wind. Sure the cinematography & sets/ locations are nice but it’s a boring film with no substance so why would I watch that ever again when literally any David lynch or David fincher film will have both of those with a vastly superior plot. Hell any James whale film is more engaging than gone with the wind but people always say it’s a masterpiece somehow. If it’s bold to say than I’m glad to be brazen enough to speak up because it ain’t it chief 😂

The original Dawn of the Dead might be the most overrated movie of all time. The remake blows it out of the water. Speaking of the remake, it’s better than every other Romero movie except for possibly Day of the Dead.

Amazon sucks for movies. Almost every movie I buy from Amazon arrives damaged.
