Excellent content. Beautiful home. Great information about Healthcare costs. The food is healthier outside of the United States. I recently returned from a scouting trip in Portugal where I may consider as a new home country. My focus is definitely Healthcare costs regardless of where I live. My next scouting trip will be in Africa. I have relatives in South Africa, which is why I’m leaning towards that country.

Thank you so much for this Ellie, yes to a part 2! Im so glad you touched based one health care because that is tactic that is used by family and friends when you share ideas of wanting to leave the USA when in fact its affordable out of the country for better care in most cases.

EXACTLY, we have to let people know the USA is not the ONLY place you can get great healthcare, and like you said there's so many places that have better healthcare infrastructure and its wayyyyyy more affordable.

You have a nice home.

In the US, it's more than 50K to have a baby. If you get an epidural the anesthesiologist wants about 10K. They charge OR time if you have a C-section in the OR, add some more thousands. It's over 1K a night to spend in the hospital. In the US you're out in 24-48 hours now. The insurance companies push you out the door. A CS can stay up to 3 days. It's crazy here as you know. May you have a healthy and safe delivery. Let us see the health experience there. Part II.
