Goodyear Horizon hose. It's heavy as hell, but damn near bulletproof. My dad's old shop hose is still totally uncracked after 30 years, even though it's spent over a quarter of its life outside in the sun. Got all the usual shop chemicals on it, never really ever cleaned - only damage is some fading. Of course, 50 feet of 1/2", with 1/2" steel Tru-Flate on both ends, weighs about 50 pounds. And it is pretty stiff, like reinforced rubber hose usually is. Minimum coil is about 14". But it doesn't get *stiffer* even when it's just dug out of the snow. We use a 10 foot stinger of cheap 3/8" hose to get some flexability on the tool end.

Tbh if you never serviced it an engine should last longer than 1900 hrs. I'd say the original engine was doomed from day one, either something was installed badly and was missed during quality control or there was a faulty part used which failed and led to complete engine failure.

Ya, I've been trying to find a FPT engine for a Case SR200 skidloader. No luck.
Them fiatagri engine are unreal. Great engines.
One of the things I love about ya Warren straight up, no bullshit tell it like it is and the work is done right and you have a high standard behind the work you do. I can see why guys bring their stuff to you and why you seem swamped all the time
Looks like you’ve gone from summer time to winter time I can see your breath
Thanks again Warren
Je ben echt een held op gebied van motoren knap man echt
I would change the front prop shaft and bearing as you already have the front axle out as in the you uk they fail around the 3000h mark. The NF engine don't normally have engine problems we have only had one go in the last 7years since I've been work for new Holland & jcb! dealer
Great job 👍👍👍!
it is nice to Hear a " Pay it forward" word . This is worldwide " Networking" . when this swap is complete, would/do you I.D. the motor as a swap with changes? You have had tractor trailer cab with a mishmash of swap parts that caused confusion.
Gotta say it's the first time I've seen a nh with an engine fault, work at a nh dealership and never had am nh come in or heard of one for that matter with an engine defect
Sir, I have a question What kind of method do i use to get valve clearance on NH220 Cummins? The Inner base circle method or outer base Circle Method ?? Thanks.
Warren awesome videos!!!!!! You know your shit my friend.... just curious, what do u like doing best?
Curious to see if either of you checked to see if that was a bad series of engines, which might explain the "good" price?
Damn it's already cold there? We are still in the upper 90's here in Texas.
New engine , this is very good ...
Makes you wonder if it was a manufacturer defect or if the engine was sucking dust in to fail so soon.
Looks like ya got lucky & most everything fit between engines?
10grand aint bad, I was at the cat dealer checking out stuff and they wanted $60,000 for a on road motor its crazy
First also love ur vids
dang! gettin er done!
Three questions do you think the engine was not broke in correctly or poorly assembled and last question you mentioned about the horsepower difference do u think the injectors will be different I thought there is differences between the size too on horsepower
hi there mate nice videos " tell me what runs your air compressor on the service truce " seems like a pretty neat setup " I am in New Zealand doing light commercial servicing so would be keen to know Cheers keep up the great work

It is run off of hydraulics, the transmission has a pto that drives a pump. Very good and quiet but also expensive.

Don’t know what happened to last motor, but I hope he cleans his air filter and changes the oil on this one. Doubt he will find this deal again.

Tbh if you never serviced it an engine should last longer than 1900 hrs. I'd say the original engine was doomed from day one, either something was installed badly and was missed during quality control or there was a faulty part used which failed and led to complete engine failure.

I own this tractor, i bought it two years ago with 1300 hundred hours. I disked and chisled with it. I gave it a full service twice since I bought it reilowski. Its easy to sit behind your computer and take shots at someone else’s misfortune.

FLEX ZILLA HOSES WORK GREAT
Was question my self is this your job or your own tractor ?
Do they change anything physically between different hp engines (cheaper parts on lower hp engines?), Or is it strictly software?

What would cause all of that crap in the turbo with low hours?
@scottgibson7534

Long ideling hours, or bad fuel. Also lots of oil burining.

Long idling at low engine speed. You should idle the engine to a higher level when doing that.

Does using the truck engine to power all the extensions (air, crane etc) count as harmful idling? Or is it designed with it in mind?
@peterhaan9068

Harmful idling is only a problem to the brain dead liberal legislature in CA and of course to the vacuous citizenry that elected them!

From the engines point of view it’s probably not the nicest thing. For emissions, fuck it!

Why are you not tightening things in a star pattern? This is standard in the repair industry when tightening fasteners (star pattern).
👍👍👍👍
it's either 40 below, or that's some cheesy air hose Warren!
How long does that m18 battery last you in the field?( average days work)
warren gloves datenight?
what no sleevs? is that the whole point, rebuild in frame no removeiong the motor for a rebuild..
You should invest in a hose reel and mount it on the back of your truck

Only 1800 hrs we put 2500 on ours its first year wow
I would appreciate it if you add subtitles to Western truck videos.
I pray you swapped the New Filters back to the New engine as soon as you finished swapping the Filter Manifold ! Don't want to feed the new engine the same poison that killed the old one. sdh in CT

That last tractor with the black smoke, surely that suggests over fuelling, or blocked air cleaner rather than a bad turbo....last time I had a blown turbo it was thick white smoke......

our t7000 has 9000 hours 250hp, new had a problem sounds like new, bet this guy pored hydraulic oil into the engine or something or ran it without air filter
1900 hours? Jeez that's depressing..
