New Holland is touting a leap forward in performance, comfort and peace of mind for operators when its 2025 T9 SmartTrax tractors debut next year.
In this report from the Commodity Classic in Houston, Texas, New Holland product marketing manager Ken Paul says the combination of those three pillars will help farmers tackle the most demanding tasks in their fields.
When it comes to performance, Paul points to a new track undercarriage that includes advanced oscillating roller wheels and vibration dampening mount suspension that contributes to elevated ride quality and prevents uneven wear during field-to-field transportation.
To ensure ease of daily maintenance, clear track system hubcaps have been integrated, providing straightforward access to critical components. The new track system for the T9 tractor also streamlines maintenance and optimizes tension by eliminating manual adjustments with its automatic track tensioning system.
With the five models ranging from 475 to 645 rated horsepower, operators will see more speed and maneuverability from the SmartTrax system, says Paul. These tractors will now travel at a road speed of up to 25 mph for quicker field-to-field transport.
The T9 SmartTrax will offer multiple track belt options, including two width choices - 30-inch and 36-inch - and three different belt brands to choose from. There's also a 47 per cent increase in fuel capacity, which checks in at 455 gallons, contributing to extended run time and reduction in refuelling stops.
