Inhibitor rings just sounds cooler anyways.

This new Shadow lore was super interesting and I’m super happy they finally released. Shadow is the ultimate life form.

During one of the recent Twitter Takeover Q&A's, Eggman stated that he decimated GUN in Sonic Forces. So, I guess he finally got his revenge.

While interesting as that is I find it as just there excuse to to hand wave them out of the story along with many other human elements.

I spoke to Tails Channel and his source who works at SEGA and asked to see if Shadow will have Chaos Blast or have the ability to take off his inhibitor rings and become Invincible and he said that it could be possible and this video from SEGA them selves proved it!

TBH I suspect all the 06 and Shadow 05 rep is because those are the only high-res cut scenes with Shadow actually in them.

Love how Eggman sees Shadow as a Great Creation to Science and also a Dangerous Threat to his Schemes but the Fact that he takes his Family Seriously shows you a Soft Side to the Doctor, just because he’s a Mad Genius it doesn’t mean he’s fully Heartless, he even cares about his Robotic Army that Sonic and Shadow Destroy

I really love how you can feel the eggman is kind of saddened about Maria when he talks about her and that pride and his grandfather speaking about him it's just really cool and I really like that it shows that eggman does care about his family

I feel like they had an opportunity to explain more but since this is supposed to be brief I understand why. but I would’ve liked to know who created his air shoes and how do they work on a more detailed level and explain how he was created and if he looked different before black doom was involved and more info about him in general that hasn’t been explored yet in any pre-existing official lore…

@@Kiezly For one, Gerald probably created his air shoes considering he was only one there that knew how to make things(he *IS* Eggman's grandfather after all)secondly, if Black Doom wasn't involved, he would've looked like Terios(his old design that actually looks like a Sonic recolor and correct me if I spelled his name right or not)imo anyways

I'm loving these bits of lore into Shadow's history! Hopefully we get a lot more!

​in your last stream, I told you about a video idea I thought would be cool. A tier list of sonic games that need remake or remasters. I have 6 tiers of remakes( i.e., remaster, small remake, remake, overhaul, reimagining, and can't be remade). You told me you only have 2 tiers, remake and remaster. I'm guessing you want to keep it simple, which is fair. However, my logic is that saying rise of lyric for example needs a remake does a disservice to the amount of work that title actually needs. It would require a full reimagining according to my tier list. My list goesintothespecifics on howmuchworka title might might need told be finished or modernized @SonicHubYT.

Shadow is a great and important character. His backstory about his creation is very iconic, I’m sure. I hope they expand the story in Sonic X Shadow Generations.

We actually have no idea if the air shoes aid him in his speed or not. For all we know, it might be a similar case to Sonic’s shoes where they help with the friction.

​@@ConductorSplytz Shadow can't run at light speed only faster than sound. Sonic is faster than him because sonic can run at light speed when he cuts loose which is why shadow has to chaos control to catch up to him

@@nithinshakthithiruppathi4028 I hope you're not one of those people that think Sonic's shoes make him fast, because they don't(especially when we put Super and Hyper Sonic into account where they give him a huge burst of speed)if we take away his iconic shoes, he's still gonna be just as fast, that's why I love the two Sonic movies, cuz they literally, in your face, show and tell you that the reason Sonic's fast is because he has a special power(though, I do question why Knuckles has a special power even though he's strong as is)sorry if I was being rude and ranting(as well as assuming)I just hate running into those types of people, they make no sense

Awesome Video exploring the history of shadow is Fun

I loved this video Sega posted. I can proudly say I’ve been a big fan of Shadow since 2001. I remember being a kid back then and watching him make the ultimate sacrifice in SA2 and in Sonic X and being so sad because not only did I think I lost my most favorite character in the franchise forever, I thought I lost a character I could relate so much to. I read somewhere that one of Takashi Iizuka’s while creating him was to make Shadow relatable with Americans. The older I got, the more I realized how true that is. Luckily, Shadow’s loved by not only Americans but by the world and this year has proven that 100%. All hail Shadow! As a side note, since I was a little kid in 2001 and didn’t comprehend the terms “inhibitor” or “limiter” rings, I simply referred to them as bracelets. Even the ones he wears around his ankles.

@@Dog1167 Yes but they have been moving away from having any humans (except for Robotnik) making Shadow’s motive for being so aggressive make no sense.

I really want to see inhibitor rings used as a mechanic kinda like devil trigger from DMC or in more lore similarities to unleashed state from Sonic Unleashed Also this video shows that's even Eggman finds Shadow hype as f***

I think this is the first time we’ve ever heard Eggman say he felt something over Maria’s death. I know he said in the Egg Memos in Frontiers and in this short that he and her weren’t that close because she died way before he came of age but still. I’m not complaining, it’s a welcome little addition. I’d be pissed too if the government killed my cousin to cover up their own shit.

@@ARTSONICFAN990 To think that the *MAIN* reason Gerald went crazy *IS* because of Maria's death, he truly did love her and would do anything to make sure she was cured from her illness, and whether or not GUN knew about her illness, they killed her all for what, I always knew that GUN was corrupt(it doesn't help that Rouge works for them)it wasn't until Shadow 05 when they found out the truth of what the eclipse cannon was used for(it was either Eggman or Shadow that came up with the idea to use the cannon to destroy/blow up Earth)when the Ark was falling to Earth in SA2's final story, I think, imo, that was a failsafe just in case that if something were to go wrong(like say, the death of your granddaughter that you loved very dearly)it was set to crash down to Earth, in 06, both Shadow and Omega join GUN(probably because Rouge works there)

This was a good move by sega so now I don’t have to scare everyone by dropping every bit of Shadow lore at once (they’re getting it regardless). I love the idea of Eggman trynna get back for Maria and bonding with Shadow over that but calling him the Ultimate Ingrate is nasty work 😂
